I think if ESPN had put best Sportsman Dan would be doing better. Athlete and im sure Dan would agree isnt in his forte. You think "athlete" and u think all-round fast, all round athletic guy. Dan was a winner and a leader and top 5 QB's ever to play position. (personally to me hes the best ever but im biased!)

Its unfair to compare players in different sports because there are less basketball players on the court at one time than football players on the field at the same time.Therefore their impact is greater.

Wilt Chamberlain was the most dominant player of his time bar none.Dan Marino was the best QB of his time but he needed a good team around him to win championships.

Wilt could win games on his own.Dominant on the boards as well as on offense.Scored 100 points on his own several times I believe.

I dont have a stat book to confirm that but the point is that he was dominant on the boards as well as between the sheets..

I voted for Dan....BUT very few athletes were as dominate as Wilt in basketball.
