i was reading another post about c wake running 4.55 and was thinking who throughout the years has had best ever combine. Not just best 40 dash or best bench, but overall.

Was looking at Dustin Keller's no. and they are superb, and considering Mario Williams and J Peppers, bench and 40.

But who considering everything was the best of all time and who was best for might fins?????????

For the phins, Ronnie Brown was pretty good. His combine got him ahead of Cadillac in the draft. Overall I think the best that I can remember is calvin johnson. His 40, catches, size he was just a warrier. Also chris johnson in tenn is good.

adam archuleta: 6-foot, 211-pound Archuleta ran a 4.42 40, had a 39-inch vertical jump and bench-pressed 225 pounds 31 times.

insane for a DB

I remember Calvin Johnson dominating, and then running the 40 in sub 4.4 wearing somebody else's shoes because he was originally gonna pass.

Bets individual efforts.... haloti ngati 54 reps of 225.... yamon figurs 40...

Vernon Davis is the definition of a "Workout Warrior". He had the best combine ever, but his failure to produce so far shows you what the biggest problem with the combine is. It doesn't always translate to being a googd player (Vernon Davis, Mike Williams, Troy Williamson, Jamal Anderson(DE)). But on a lighter note, Ronnie Brown definately had the best combie ever for a Dolphin, 4.35 40 for a power runner, and that number has translated on to the field very nicely.
