Just surfing through rivals.com and found the Ohio State recruiting class of 2002. Got me to thinking who had the best class ever?

I don't know how this class would measure up, but here's some names..

A.J. Hawk
Maurice Clarett
Bobby Carpenter
Nick Mangold
Santonio Holmes
Quinn Pit****
Troy Smith

That's a pretty nasty class if you ask me..

btw, here's Maurice Clarett's file photo from High School per rivals..

Funny Mike D'andrea was supposed to be the defensive player in america and Hawk almost went to Michigan..and Carpenter only got a scholarship because someone was inelligable....crazy how things work out.

USC's classes the last 3 years have been pretty good.

In terms of rebuilding a school, PSU's freshman class this year is pretty good (King and Williams were better players, but they got a lot of top notch guys this year)
