agreed, thats why I chose Gus...as of now it seems like the most realistic pick, but things could easily change from day to day...from that list I'd much rather have Brees however, or draft Cutler in the 1st.

I guess we can consider "Other" primarily McNair.. I forgot all about those rumors. Mostly Brees & Culpepper rumors floating in the past day or two.

hey don't get me wrong, I wouldn't at all mind if Gus was our starter for another year, just as long as we draft a QB with the idea that he will be our future guy in mind....

we do have to worry about Baltimore though, they may make a move for him...

Right now, it may not even be Frerotte unless he re-negotiates his contract...

It's pretty interesting because no matter who it turns out to be, there are going to be a lot of upset fans. We've seen 25 names in threads at one time or another...What's worse is how people have fallen in love with the idea of Culpepper or Brees and IF they turn out to be duds because of their respective injuries, Saban will be crucified, but ask them right now and Saban is stupid if he doesn't go after one of those two...

Either way, I hope for two things right now....the league works out it's CBA situation before FA begins and after 9 years of searching, whoever Saban gets, our quest for Marino's replacement is fulfilled....And if Gus is still the starter, I will be unhappy, even if he's just the starter while Culpepper or Brees is rehabbing or if he's the QB while a rookie sits on the bench to learn the pro game....
