The best looking player in the HOF game to me was Bryan Gilmore. The catch which Frerotte threw {which SUCKED} he made a full 180 to catch it. He showed he can run routes and catch well. Hes got break away speed too, and it was against the 1st team, with some 2nds in because Urlacher was still in the game; and so was Mike Brown. Aj Feely stunk it up but its only the first game. Frerotte was inaccurate but still came through. Rosenfels did alright, taken he is a 3rd string he did well. Brock did really well except for his bonehead INT. Ricky didn't have any lanes, and our line did HORRIBLE in the running game, and did below average, bordering horrible pass coverage. The sack which Gus supposedly "sidestepped" was a stroke of pure LUCK. Our line couldn't pick up any of the blitzes and Vernon didn't do too hott at Tackle. Sammy Morris is OK, Minor played too little to rate him, and who I think had the best night running the ball was Kay-Jay Harris, he showed power, moves and ability even though it was the 2nd or 3rd stringers. Chambers did great as always and expected, Marty did pretty good; and Boston had a really positive night. Lee was killing me dropping 2 or 3 passes in a row, he didn't do crap. Alex Holmes had 1 or 2 good plays but its still preseason and i believe things will get alot better. WE NEED TO SIGN RONNIE, AND GET HIS HUMBLE ARSE IN CAMP!!!!!! I pretty much saw two mediocre teams, but for the first time in like 4 years I didn't know what the Dolphins were gonna call next. Defense looked very intricate and complicated which did well at times but we still need to retool that starting lineup, Tebucky Jones, and Lance Schulters should be starting. Crowder looked good but needed to finish tackles better, and Roth really did look like a sloth but hey its only the first game and I think they will all come around. Manuel Wright looked completely and totally out of shape, I didn' know whether to put him in the Nathan's hot dog eating contest or put him on a gurney because he looked winded all game; seems like he had to drive or "motor" as John Madden put it. Many negatives and few positives but in the long run and by the end of the preseason we will be just fine. Line needs a TON of work so Houck better get ready to get his hands even dirtier than he has. I expect big things, and better so im optimistic but I have my reservations.

Frerotte didn't do too bad but OLINDO on the other hand has been struggling for 2 years. ITS TIME TO GET YOUR ACT STRAIGHT OR GET THE FIZZUK OUT OF HERE. But I'll say this its only the preseason, so he better get his act together by Regular Season or Saban might get another Kicker.

Mare did well, you can't blame him for missing a 57 yard FG

Not much about the game was good looking, but did anyone else catch Zach absolutely flatten Kreutz on that one blitz? Too bad Grossman still completed a fairly long one down the middle on that play, but wow.

I thought what little of Traylor we saw was good too, he caught my eye just ripping a guard out of his way on one series.

Besides that, Gus looked good against the blitz and Carey held his own in pass pro.

I would have liked to see more of the starters and 2nd string, but I guess it was just game 1.

I thought Boston showed he can still play, and his overpowering of CB's can be useful
