I know we have had the worst quarterbacks in the NFL consistantly since Marino retired. Who do you think is/was the best quarterback weve had since he left?

Personally I think it was Griese. True he didn't shine when he was here, but he's currently doing better than crappy in Tampa. He could have developed with us maybe not as the long term answer but better than what we have now.

Your thoughts?

I think there is only one reason why Griese wasn’t successful in Miami. That reason is Wade Smith.

I cant honestly answer this question since we havent seen an actual Qb since Dan retired.

Im hoping Gus/Sage or the hopefully soon to be signed Tim Couch will again remind us of what its like to have an actual QB behind Center.

You summed up his career here. Think Griese sent Wade a get well card

Jay Fiedler. He gaves us the best chance to win. Such Pro Bowl QB's that could have been stars in Miami... Brian Griese, Trent Green, etc. I don't see what they could've done for us that Jay (Fiedler) couldn't. :ri:

It's times like these more than ever that I wish we had a Dave Wannstedt smiley.

Yeah and inside it read:

Dear Wade,

You are a useless turnstyle. You feel that pain in your arm? Thats what I went through everytime you let one of those big ol defensive linemen by at full speed hanging me and every other qb out to dry. Go crawl in a hole you miserable slag.

Your pal,
Brian

The answer is easy: Fiedler. And that shows how bad it's been since Dan retired. It's been beyond pathetic.

Fiedler, I remember the sunday night game where Griese couldn't do anything, then Fiedler comes in and leads the team to victory. He wasn't the most talented, but he did win alot of games. It's kinda hard to pick the best Qb since Marino retired, because none of the Qb's were very good.

Orange jersey game against the skinds. Games like that and the thanksgiving day game in Dallas, Fiedler looked like a pro bowler. He was just bad more often than good.

We haven't found a QB that could even be in consideration for "the best QB since". When we invest into a talented guy that label can be given out.
