Since Flores has been here in 2019, what is the best offense this team has beaten? I’m drawing a blank.

I’d say the Rams offense back when they unleashed the zero blitzes and “amoeba” defense.
Problem with the Rams with Goff is that they've basically been like Flores on defense. Goff is a flawed QB that could ball against bad teams but be completely annihilated in a bad game.

Only teams we've really dominated were with 0 blitzes and the problem is most good QB's aren't susceptible to that....a big reason why last year's record was a mirage because we beat so many easily confused QB's and didn't show up versus ones that played a complete game.

I would say the Cardinals as well, but even then we really didn't shut down the opponent. It was somewhat of a shootout where the defense, to their credit, really manned up to make a key stop or two late in the game.

I see what you're doing there and you’re totally right. Flores has been getting a pass from people that think the offense is the only problem but his defense is not good.....lasy year they had a lot of turnovers so that hided a lot of problems but now they’re not getting turnovers and you see the real defense

To beat good offences, it helps to keep them off the field with a competent offence of your own. It’s tiring and discouraging for a defence to have to get back on the field so often.

No, they’re playing some elite offences. And getting turnovers is not fluky, it’s the result of making plays. Yards, I would say is the most irrelevant measurement. Intercepting Mahomes three times last year, for example, was no fluke.

If the Offence had the occasional 9 minute drive, it would go a long way to keeping the defence fresh and just lowering the possessions for the opposition.

What about the Chargers last year.

I mean.... didn't their rookie set records and stuff
Herbert was a big play guy who oozed turnovers, and their running game sucked. Plus Herbert was still in one of his first starts, he got his reputation for what he did as the season moved along.
