Best Offseason ever for the Dolphins!!!!

After the season we would list QB, DB, OL, WR as our biggest needs

In the Draft we got:
1. Allen - Starting DB
2. Culpepper - Starting QB (Former and future Pro Bowler)
3. Hagan - Good 3rd receiver and Booker's eventual replacement

In FA we have picked up 2 solid Tackles, and are going to get a good Backup QB, a solid receiver in Campbell, and several good DB's.

Tomorrow we pick up LB and DL help (our Defensive Front 7 was solid last year).

Best offseason ever for the Dolphins.

We should get Orien Harri from THE U, he shoulda be early-mid 2nd rounder and could be our starting DT alongside either Vickerson or Wright

I am pleased with the picks, and I have to support them. They both were not my first choices though. By no means will I be booing them. They just don't excite me too much. I get excited by Pepper a little, hoping he comes back to full strength, but not excited by the draft. I would have been excited by a Manny Lawson pick. I just feel that safeties fall on draft day, and look Darnell Bing and Ko simpson are both available, but about 25 linebackers have been drafted.

I am excited about the offseason but not as excited as I was last offseason. This offseason has been solid and it just more proof were moving in the right direction.

I havent been this excited about a season since 02 when we first brought in Ricky Williams, and even then all we had at the QB position was Fiedler although I really felt that the presence of Ricky would turn Jay into a good starter in this league. All in all it has been great thus far and I think it is going to continue and ultimatly translate into a 12-4 season and the AFC EAST CROWN.

Think about the players that left and what we picked up, no doubt we have a better team now.
Saban will get value out of tomorrow's picks.
