Who in your opinion is the best OLB to ever play the game. Also who is the best to play for the Fins disregarding current players. LT would be my all time fave, and although B Brudzinski( AJ duhe was a hybrid DE) would be my fave FIn, i never thought him to be the best. What are your thoughts

Jack Ham or Jack Lambert from the Steelers Superbowl teams were awesome players.

yes they were, I forgot about them, especially Lambert. Another was youngblood, but i never seen him play

As for best outside linebacker, I give my vote to Jack Pardee(I consider Lawrence Taylor to really be more of a standup defensive end.
As for the Dolphins, outside linebacker has constantly been a weak spot in team history. Most of the best linebackers in team history were either middle guys(Bunoconti, Offerdahl, Zach) of hybird defensive end/middle backers( Duhe, Bob Matheson). I give my vote to best Dolphins outside linebacker(even though he played the spot 3 1/2 years and was moved to the middle to with big hole there) to Bryon Cox.

Derrick Thomas was probably my favorite OLB, but LT is right up there with him.

this may sound weird but Junior Seau he never really got and reconiction because he was on such bad teams so i am going to say junior

bestoutside lb's lt or derick thomas hugh green wasn't bad but wish we could've gotten him earlier

Actually Junior was listed as a middler linebacker most of his time in San Diego. He played in a strange defense(which parts of which the Dolphins have used from 1998 to 2000, and 2003-2005) where there were 2 middle linebackers and only 1 outside guy.

Junior Seau is the best I've seen (I regard LT and Derrick Thomas as stand up defensive ends not true all round OLBs). When he was at his peak he did things I haven't seen any other LB do.

Can't say there's any Dolphin OLB that's been truly great.

Credit where credit is due, LT is the best natural OLB. i never thought of him as a DE. Matheson and AJ would have claims, but i never seen it as there natural spot. but ur info is invaluable nonetheless
