Most scouts and fans alike will claim Matt Ryan to be the clear-cut number one rated Qb in the draft. I personally believe, like some, he's somewhat overrated. He has great intangibles but take away his comeback vs. VT and his great game against Bowling Green, this peast season was above average but nothing that would show he should be the number 1 rated QB.
I'd go with Brian Brohm. Hes' very athletic. He also shows great poise in the pocket. People wana talk about his injuries, well perhaps his Oline wasn't one of the best. They also want to talk about his arm strength and how its not adequate...thats false.
Joe Flacco-People compare him to Rothlisberger... he has the size but thats where it ends. He's coming from a D1-AA school. He couldn't pass Tyler Palko on the depth charts at Pitt!
Andre Woodson-he has a windup ala Byron Leftwich, hate that
John David Booty-USC was wayyyy too talented not to be contending for a national championship .. I blame Booty..But he is NFL ready
Colt Brennan-Amazingly accurate but will need a few years to learn a pro-style offense.
Josh Johnson-Insane stats, most athletic QB in the draft.. tough to judge coming from D1AA.. but I do think he's a better pro prospect that the other D1AA QB Joe Flacco
Chad Henne-Too inconsistent. Not the most accurate. But he did play against top notch competition and is very NFL ready
Erik Ainge- Nice size. played against top competition but underachieved with NFL-talent around him. NFL ready but kinda inconsistent..nothing too overly exciting about him
