so far i think miami has had the best offseason. we have filled alot of key positions and are no a serious playoff threat.
and as of rite now i think TB and Indy have had the worst.
Tampa has only re-sign there free agents and made no attempt to upgrade, and indy has lost a franchise player and half of the inside d line

what do u think

Yeah we did well.

But so did Dallas, Cleveland, Tennessee, Seattle, and Washington.

Culpepper alone has made our offseason the best in the NFL. Adding Arrington, and Allen could make it the best in franchise history, and possibly one of the best in NFL history. Of course competing with the 1988-1990 Cowboys, the 1985 49ers, and the 1983 Dolphins.

umm, that's a bit of a stretch don't ya think?.................:sidelol:

The Pats have been really quiet this offseason. It makes me wonder what Belichick has under his sleeve. They lose an emotional leader in Willie McGinest, and they lose a proven young receiver in David Givens. They have among the big losers.

i think cleavland had the best offseason so far if we sign lavar we'll be right with them. were number 2 and then is the redskins who always have a really good offseason schneider loves FAs. but we have had a really good offseason and are def a afc champ threat

and thats a little crazy but the only way to tell about that would have to be if we win like the next 2 or 3 super bowls then that would be the best FA ever

On paper, I think we've done really well and probably one of the best this offseason, if not the best. But, the problem is that there are many cases where the "change of scenery" for FAs has caused problems for various reasons and they don't live up to the hype or get injured, etc. So, on paper, yes. In reality, we'll have to see.

Tampa did sign Tonei Fonoti former second round pick to thier oline and so far have not lost a significant starter from thier playoff team. So just because they have not made many moves , by not losing any major players I don't think its fair to put them as the worst. Indy has by far done worse.

You say those teams got better, but as long as its not the Bills, Jets or especially the Pats it shouldnt bother us.

Cleveland overspent for some of their guys. Good moves in the short run that will comeback and hurt them.

Thing is is we are not done. and it wont be how big the name is, but rather how well Saban will put the entire team together in his image.

i think if your a team like the browns in the position they're in, you have to go out and overspend in the offseason if your trying to become competitive. it does a few things. brings in other prospective FA's cuz they're offering the big money (like the redskins) and creates a buzz for your team in the football community. like how arizona picked up edge. i bet they've sold a ton o' jerseys already, so they make the money back too.

Not at all. What people forget is last year we were 4-12. This year we were 9-7. Next year we are considered legit superbowl contenders. Not to mention Culpepper is an all-time great (or will be). He is coming off of a bum year. If he can hit 80% of what he has achieved in the past he is going to the HOF no doubt. To put it into retrospect - some people consider Manning the greatest QB all-time (yes ahead of Marino). Now Culpepper has just been shadowed by Manning ever so slightly all these years. Culpepper is much more valuable than what even those who value him say he his.
