Hi all,

I'm coming over from the UK to watch the Denver game in October & just wanted your opinion on which block in the stadium I should try and go for.

I'm definitely not going to go for the $600 seats & don't want to sit in the boring/non-atmospheric seats.

Howabout block 110 or how are the endzone blocks such as 129 or even higher 428 rubbish views?

Some personal experiences/preferences would be much appreciated.

I have paid a bunch of money to get close to the field before and I can assure you it's not worth it. It is more difficult so see the action in a lower view. My suggestion is to get seats in the club level as close to midfield as possible. You can generally get seats around the 30 yard line from 150-250 depending on the opponent and team record. Try stub hub now before seats go on Sale through ticketmaster. Stubhub sells the season ticketholders Tix first so if you act quick enough there should be some good ones available. If you wait and the team is doin well those prices will increase drastically. Enjoy, let me know what game your going to, I'm trying to get out there from Cali for a game or two this year so I love to tagate!

thanks for the info..will definitely check out stub hub. I also have to agree with you about not selecting seats right at the front. I was about 11 rows from the field (which were damn expensive) for the Wembley, London games and I was really disappointed with the views. Spent most of the time looking up at the video screen, which defeats the purpose of attending a LIVE game.

Will definitely go to the Denver game in Oct (as I've already booked my flight tickets) so will let you know which block I eventually decide to go for and yes it would be cool to tailgate before hand!

I wish I could help, the best seat IMO is in front of the Big screen HDTV, with a cold beer in the A/C :)

I am season ticket holder and have several seats for that game if you are interested. They are in section 121 and I can give you a decent price. Email me at ajcdolphin13@msn.com.

I bought seats in the lower bowl (Section 149, Row 4) for the Lions game last year for 40 bucks on StubHub. Face value they cost around $125. I loved those seats, especially for the price.

It all depends on who's selling them, who's the opponent and how good the Dolphins are playing.

Honestly there are no bad seats. I have NOT been in the 400 level. I have been on the dolphins side in the 140's a few times, about 10-20 rows up is great there. The club is also good, though yes they are expensive, but the sight lines are good and you have access to the nice club level which I think is even better than the new Dallas stadium. Ours is much more open and they have a post game band, all the games are on, post game press conferences etc.

I have been in the endzone more than once and the closer you get to the field the better, i sat right above the tunnel once and those are great but with any football game, if all of the action is on the other side you wont get the close view of the scoring plays.

By far, the best seats in the stadium are Dolphins Field Club. They are on the grass in the end zone and you have actual seating, access to the entire club level, really access to the whole stadium except for the Ocean Drive Club. Field club is all you can eat, all you can drink non-alcohol, former cheerleaders (hostesses) escort you to the seats, you have views of the teams coming in and out of the field, or cheerleaders and halftime entertainment depending on which side you're on east & west respectively. They also provide ponchos if it rains. Two years ago I went on veterans day and sat field club west, got to high five manny fernandez and john offerdahl walking off after the coin toss, and got to high five the flyover pilots in the 3rd qtr. After the game I even met Wayne Huizenga walking along past the Ocean Drive Club. Last year we went and sat club level for the Pittsburgh game and it was also great except for the fact that we got absolutely ROBBED of a victory.

The Ford Field club is expensive and on the sideline but its standing room only and in the corner, and the locker room club is OK but again, standing room only, its on the south side of the east field club where the marlins dugout is. Access and food etc for those is the same.

The Ocean Drive club is an ultralounge that is under the stadium thats set up like a nightclub. not sure if they have it anymore, but it was an additional three hundred or so to get in there.

If you show up early, they usually have a pregame concert, I've seen Jimmy Buffett and a few other good performers pre game on the south side of the stadium, they also have the orange carpet so you can see celebrities walk in, they also show the orange carpet arrivals inside on the big HDTV.

It really is a great place, maybe because I'm a dolphins fan and around like minded folks, but I've been to Arizona, Dallas new & old, Old meadowlands, Old Veterans Stadium, and Gilette stadium in New England.

By far our stadium experience is better, the only major thing between us and Arizona is the wheel in field and indoor aspect. Dallas has the retractable roof, huge HDTV center field and they have their "nightclub" where the players walk through to the field, but you have to have special stadium passes. Dallas is by far more expensive, even basic club seats are $330 face value, suites can be $2000+ per person, per game FACE VALUE.

Also in Dallas the tailgating is lousy because Jerry has a rule that only the outside parking spaces can be used for tailgating, basically forcing you into the stadium to buy drinks and hang out in the bar areas. Also annoying if you have endzone seats on one side of the stadium, if you try to walk in on the side you have to walk in through the gift shop like how disney does it, exit through the gift shop... Parking costs an arm in the outside areas and a leg on the closer areas. Food in the club level though is EXCELLENT in Dallas, its on par with a top restaurant, and its WAY overpriced. Ordering pizza in a suite? $90. Kobe beef burger in the club $13 (but it is AMAZING). Beers are $8 or $9, mixed drinks too, $13-$15.

Our tailgating is awesome, lots of good dolphins fans hanging out.

The thing that annoys me the most about our stadium is they got rid of the old fight song and replaced it with the Jimmy Buffett Fins song with modified lyrics. BRING OUR FIGHT SONG BACK!! yes its cheesy but its ours!!! Oh and the "fins up" thing, that HAS TO GO. get rid of those two things and the jets merchandise in the gift shop and that would make it perfect.

I've been in the 400 level all but once (10-12 times) since I've been going to Miami. This year I'll be up there as well. So long as you get seats in the first few rows the upper levels are fine.

Also one last thing, stubhub is a good resource as is miami.craigslist.org/tix. You should be able to find tickets below face value for nearly every section. I think last year my seats said $600 each on them but I payed like $210 each or something of that nature.

I also think the field sections I've outlined are $350 face value, but since there are only a handful of tickets those usually go at a premium. I have no idea who pays $600 for club seats when you could get field club for $350 but hey whatever floats your boat. I think its mainly companies who own the seats and expense them or something. I've also seen suite tickets go for like $250 each but its hit and miss, you just have to be vigilant.

Sidelines between the 30's are usually like $90-$150 ish on the open market. Just depends. If we aren't doing well the seats plummet in value. You have plenty of time, get set up on these sites and just watch watch watch.

I also like fansnap.com, it pulls together ebay, stubhub, razorgator, ticketcity etc and maps them all out. No I dont work for them and they arent paying me or anything, its just a neat site.

Thanks for the really extensive information dkenned1. Will be keeping an eye out on the mentioned websites for the best deal.At the moment on stubhub they seem kinda expensive. The Dolphins field club seats seem like a great deal, especially for my first time to Miami!
