I see alot of guys talking about confusing Sanchez and the Jest o-line by disguising blitzes. I know whe have alot of guys we can send from different angles and who possess different kinds of skills when it comes to getting after the passer.

so what is the best way to disguise blitzes?

i saw we had a few times in the Indy game we only had one guy with his hand on the ground and 10 guys standing. i dont know how well that ended up working i did force Payton to take a TO once.

so whats the key?....lots of movement with fakes or just not getting into position till late what should we do to make it hard for Sanchez to read our D?

what kind of personnel would use use and how would you disguise our pressure to inflict maximum pain?

You know we really have'nt blitzed Nate Jones at all yet. He's wowed me with some blitzes in the preseason... Yeremiah for that matter, as well.

defense has to delay and wait as long as they can to line up, first off. they stand in a loose 'huddle' in the middle and then spread out or walk around before the snap. there's a lot of ways to do it, but it about timing. overload one side, but drop guys from that side in to coverage and blitz from the other side. the object here is to get the qb to call blocking assignments for the o-linemen to one side, but the extra rusher(s) come from the other and come in clean. speed and timing are crucial, you have to get there because you're leaving exposed areas.

You know, why doesn't Miami's offense just go to quick snap counts against the Jets ?

In the Pats-Jets game in week 2, the Jets did a ton of pre snap movements up in their front 7. It was wild to look at.. Brady and the Pats ran the no-huddle, but they took all day at the line waiting til almost the play clock expired to take the snap.

Then, last week Brady ran quick snap counts against the Ravens... Because the Ravens defense loves to do a lot of pre snap shifts to confuse an offensive line. Just like the jets do.

Guess what.. The quick snap counts against the Ravens totally negated the Ravens advantage.

Run quick snap counts Monday night.. It keeps a defense like the Ravens and Jets stationary, and you know how to attack them better.

I would have all seven and sometimes up to nine on the line of scrimage and then the non blitz'ers drop back to position on the snap.

Show blitz but dont do it, blitz without showing it, blitz with 2 lineman 2 lb's, next time blitz, 2 lineman 1 lb, corner, safety, keep em guessing, never bring the same personnel or stunts, just get after DIRTY SANCHEZ'S ***, thats all that matters.

Just don't do what Crowder does...he shows it way too early. I don't think I have seen him blitz without showing it ever.

One of the most effective blitzes is the delayed LB blitz. Because the OL doesn't see it coming, they just leave a huge gap for the LB to come in.
