Best/Worst Uniforms

The recent article talking about how "bad" the Dolphins logo is got me thinking about the best and worst uniforms in football. I've always thought the Dolphins were the best. The only exception being the orange jerseys which I absolutely hate. Anyway, here's my to 10 best and worst.

Best
1. Miami (color scheme and Dolphin on the helmet is great)
2. Jacksonville (I really like the Jaguar on the helmet, color scheme)
3. Tampa Bay (the old ones were terrible, the new ones look great)
4. New England (big improvement over old unis)
5. San Diego (gives off the appearance of speed, like their classic unis)
6. Dallas (simple, but classic)
7. Minnesota (another "speedy" looking uni)
8. San Francisco (could do more with the helmet, like home color scheme)
9. Indianapolis (a little plain, but overall ok)
10. Oakland (could use an upgrade, but probably most imposing uni)

Worst
1. Cleveland (Unimaginative, plain helmet is terrible)
2. Green Bay (Horrible color scheme, simply ugly)
3. Chicago (so much more could be done w/a Bear -- see Jags helmet)
4. Buffalo (color scheme is good, red Buffalo makes me wonder, plus name is bad. It's an animal that is eaten rather than a predator)
5. Tennessee (just can't get used to them)
6. New York Jets (classic ones are better, but still don't like them)
7. Pittsburgh (why not put a logo on both sides of the helmet, stripes on pants are too thick)
8. New York Giants (dislike the road unis, plus not a fan of the helmet)
9. Washington (color scheme is good, could update helmet)
10. Detroit (I like the color scheme, helmet doesn't work for me)

I love the Packers uniforms. They're classic.

I think the Ravens are the worst in the NFL and the Colts (also classic) are the best.

I've always loved watching the Packers play. They have a great tradition, fans etc. Just don't care for the green and gold combo. I forgot about the Ravens. Yes, they could be near the bottom.

The best uniforms ever are they old Chargers. Those powder blue uniforms are classic.

yeah i'm pretty much the exact opposite on you for everything....

i love the dolphins orange jerseys, LOVE the dolphins throwbacks (from the 2003 thanksgiving day game)... i also love pitts and browns unis - the solid color looks great, classic.

the bills uniform is actuall nice - i love the white facemasks and the bright blue unis look good. the dolphins teal over teal is horrendous IMO, the white is nice. i like the raiders, LOVE greenbay, don't care for the jags unis (too dark and weird), the ravens look nice, Jets logo on the helmet is classic, but unis are ugly, pats are modern, although i'd love to see a throwback using the old helmets with the patriot in the 3-point stance...

indy is good, seattle is nice (love the bright-green trim), san diego is nice, san fran is out-dated and needs a refresh. denver is modern, but would love to see a throwback with the bronco and the "D"... the giants unis are clean and nice, detroit is nice, although i would like it if they kept the logo-less helmets, gives a college feel. i don't like dallas' unis, and don't like the vikes unis....

i like the dolphins uni how it is right now... hope they don't redesign.

I LIKE THE NEW CARDINALS, they needed updating...

same with the lions, their lion should change some,

more gothic, more like the kind on a coat-of-arms...

the new blue looks good also...

Well, I do agree with you on the Dolphins throwback jerseys. I still like those better than the new ones, although I'm glad they didn't change much. I also agree w/you about the teal on teal. Those are bad. Otherwise, not much agreement but that's okay.

Yes, I like those a lot. That uniform actually came on top in a poll done by ESPN (I believe) a while back.
