"Jerome Bettis is not a believer in the Miami Dolphins. Not even close."

``I see them as a borderline. I don't see them winning the division.''

''I'm not too confident this offense is going to be as good as advertised,'' Bettis said. `` Ronnie Brown hasn't shown he can handle the load. I don't think they'll win the division. It's going to be hard for them to squeeze into the playoffs.''

That's strange because last night on Total Access, he picked them to win the AFC.

This is the type of Motivation piece you cut out and put in the locker room.

Screw him and his team that was given a SB so that big slobby mediocre player could go out like that.

The Bus has never had a good game aginst us in his entire career. I wish he was still in Pittsburgh so we could get some tackles for losses when he'd be running. Pittsburgh barely squeezed in last year and they won the SB. So I hope we do atleast just squeeze in because that's all you need, get into the playoffs and start playing like it's a whole new season. We won't get the help from the ref's some teams get but it'll be a challenge. Something this team needs.

Guys, he's right.

1. It will be hard to win the AFC East this year.
2. The AFC is packed with good teams and making the playoffs is hardly a given either.

Ease up.

Same here, I was watching and he was on with Marshal Faulk and said "I like the Phins" to which Marshal replied "stop right there" agreeing with the bus.
Now he did go on to say that our age was a concern, and that C-Peps knee were a concern over the long haul, but over-all his opinion was not negative.

Maybe the paper or whoever quoted him was trying to get the Phins some bulletin board material for Thursday's game.

Jerome Bettis is a class act through and through. He is entitled to his opinion. He was a great player, and a Hall of Famer. Lets not bash him because because he didn't like our chances. He's a lot closer to the game than any of us. Having said that I would like to see him eat crow.

If that's so, they did a pretty good job.

:shakeno: He is nothing. He almost blew the game against Indy and was never nothing more that a big slobby out of shape north south runner that didn't care enough to stay in shape. He was also the cause for the refs tainting the game even more.

Why would something Jerome Bettis, the commentator, be bullitin board material?

I don't know that you guys "get" what bullitin baord material is.
