The nations 2nd rated WR, Vidal Hazleton is set to announce his commitment today at 3:40 on ESPNNews. The Finalists are Miami,USC, and Penn State.

Vidal had The U has his favorite for most of the recruiting process, but they are now no longer considered likely.

USC seems to be the next likely due to Vidal's friendship with Dwayne Jarrett, but USC hasn't really gone after him that hard even after losing out on Harvin. My gut tells me he will pick USC (I 4 WR set of Jarrett,Smith,Turner,Hazleton with Davis as a TE is sick), but USC is looking at other options,

Penn State is in the race for one reason, Derrick Williams. Vidal looks up to DWill like an older brother. Even though PSU has a strong recruiting class, and added another top WR this year in Chris Bell, PSU wants another tall,physical WR. Bell is tall, but is more of a sideline player while Hazleton more of an over the middle WR. (a 3 WR set of Bell-Hazleton-Williams is also sick and wrong. It would be the most talented WR corp in the Big 10 in a long time). In my mind I think he goes to Happy Valley, but as I said, my gut tells me Hollywood will lure him to USC.

Ditto. Ill be checking Rivals later to see where he goes.
 
Kind of a shocker that he has chosen USC because of there big playmakers leaving after this season.
 
Kind of surprised he went to USC. USC is on the way out after this season. They'll still be good, but they won't have the kind of success they have had recently for many, many years to come.
 
Who the frick would want to play for a terrible coach in Coker....When the U finally realizes that they are going down the same path as the Dolphins were and fire Coker the Joker Miami can start getting the best of the best.

I wanted want to play for Coker. He stink. Bring back butch davis and make him committ for 5 years. Also Randy Shannnonn sucks. take him elsewhere

Right now it is, but they're losing pretty much everyone this year.

they've got a ton of talented Freshmen/Sophmore's and in the end their recruiting class this year won't be scrubs.

They won't go undefeated next year since they lose Lienhart and probably Bush/White/and Smith on offense and Rucker/Bing on defense.

I said in my original post that they would still be good, just not National Championship good.
