Biggest breakout = Gesicki?

With defenses focusing on Waddle and Hill, I believe this will be the breakout year for Gesicki.

Thought on him being the biggest benefactor of this trade?
I was saying this to a friend the other day. Put Hill and Wilson/Bowden/Williams/Parker on opposite sidelines. Have them run go routes. Let Gesicki and Waddle work the middle of the field. Waddle will garner more attention = Gesicki getting sicki with it all day.

People shouldn’t be over looking Wilson. As great as Hill and Waddle might be, it is Wilson who had the best YAC of the three last year. Of course with those three on the field and the threat of the RB’s coming out of the backfield as receivers, Gesicki will obviously be a bigger weapon than ever next season.

Not that it will be a break out, I think Waddle will be the biggest beneficiary of Hill. The opposition defense will not be able to double both Hill and Waddle.

Waddle and Hill are both going to catch 80+ passes, and get the ball in a variety of other ways. I think what Gesicki will see is a lot more big play opportunities, but overall, he may get the ball less.

Wilson is going to play a big role in the passing game as will Edmonds.

If they sho w they can make people pay by not playing 2 deep or soft zone the run game and TE should see w huge boost in production. I look forward to all the creative run plays McDaniel will scheme up with Waddle/Hill as decoys or ball carriers on jet sweeps.

I just hope that in reality, this offense is everything we are dreaming up it could be right now, and doesn't somehow disappoint. Sure looks amazing on paper though.

I'm very very interested in seeing how our running game will do with Mostert and Edmonds. There are a ton of very athletic playmakers on our offense suddenly

Might be able to say the same for Hunter Long since he's Gesicki replacement after this year...

Touches! I think they’re going to force feed Hill
No reason to force feed anybody. The most effective approach is to spread it around. It's a game of moves and countermoves. It appears we have enough options that simply taking what the opposing defenses don't defend aggressively.

Hard to see Gesicki breaking out next year. Waddle and Hill combined for nearly 300 targets last year. Between Wilson and the RBs we added there really may not be too many targets for Mike outside the RZ.
