Out of all the positives tannehill possesses, we constantly point out his toughness in the pocket, his ability to take bigs hits and get back up, and his agility when leaving the pocket, either throwing on the run, or rushing for a first down.

I question whether he would be the same player when he finally does get back into action.

Very dishearting when I saw him grab his knee when going down. I hope this injury only makes him stronger in the end, but his biggest upside is his toughness and it'd be a shame to lose that.

I don't think the toughness is going to ever be an issue. It would have been by year 3 if so. It's amazing he not constantly hearing footsteps by now as it is.

Agility, that's another matter, but if AP can come back the way he did at RB, then anything is possible.

That is a tough ass dude! He still got up and walked to the sideline, locker room, and back out to the field!

I think he'll have to tone down a few things. He can't challenge linebackers for those extra couple of yards. That just isn't smart football.

He will probably be more conscious of exposing himself to unnecessary hits in the future even though this one wasn't something he exposed himself to. Honestly, it may not entirely be a bad thing for him to play it a little safer, at least in terms of the staying upright instead of sliding, and in cases where he has held the ball too long in the pocket. Physically, I don't feel like he's going to be limited in anything essential, but I do worry a little bit about him becoming gunshy in the pocket.

Ryan doesn't have to be Adrian Peterson in the pocket, he'll be able to scramble like he does now.
