Doesn't it seem like we stole something from the Cowboy's when we brought Bill, Jeff, and Tony over. Since then, we stole Ferguson for a swap in 6th rounders. For a 4th, we got 2 solid solid starters that have contributed a tremendous amount. The cowboy's lost Newman and Roy Williams for 6 plus games each. Now in one game they lose Romo and Felix Jones for 4 weeks, losse their punter for the year (he's good), and Pac Man Indef. Just something going on.

but what happends when Parcells leaves us:foundout:....

it just proves that jones cant control his francise(cant spell) and parcells is the only thing that kept that team together

On one hand I think most of us wanted the big splash with Roy Williams but we also knew the smart thing was to be patient and build through the draft. Giving up a 1st, 3rd, and 6th AND all that money is ALOT! We need a big shut down DB as well as a #1 WR. Neither is more important than the other. We also need continued upgrades and depth everywhere so we need to keep the focus on the draft and low to medium FA pickups with upside and hope we hit on them.

we r competeing and they r tough u can see it in the players,we'er just 2 plays away from be 4-1 WOW thats better alot better

You do realize they never won a playoff game when any of them were there, right?

i actually do realize that and i'm pretty sure it's all on Parcells that Romo fumbled the snap away that would have tied the game up in Seattle back then.

Just so I nunderstand BP gets all the credit for building that team but no blame for them never winning a playoff game? He HELPED build Dallas back into a good team but let's not forget that the ONLY time he ever won a SB was when he had someone else picking the players and if he didn't lose his GM powers in NE they wouldn't have made it in 1996.

i never said Parcells is perfect, but he has been able to make teams significantly better on a few occasions. whether that'll lead to a SB victory sometime here is yet to be seen.

As a coach he has always been able to do that. The trick this time is doing as an executive. It LOOKS like he made some good decisions w/ Ireland and Sparano but it's still early. We were 6-1 to start '00 under Al groh and everything looked great, things can change quickly.

We are in good spot to collect some damn good players this draft and off-season - I ask the same question why cange the plan...?
