I think BP is fishing for a #1 pick trade. Now that ATL has M. Turner they DESPERATELY need a QB for 2 reasons. First for the team, and second for the city. Aurthur Bland needs to fill the stands and with Turner and possibly Matt Ryan, The NEW and improved Falcons, could do this (and shed the bad taste Vick left in all their mouths).
Atl with the third pick is prob giong to draft Ryan unless someone trades up for him. Possible team? Cheifs! They Really need a franchise QB. SO will ATL or Kansas City trade up to secure their franchise QB? I think so. We will still be able to draft Chris or Jake Long and grab another pick this year or next aswell.

Now I may be wrong on this, but I think I heard somewhere Bill wants to draft Matt Ryan as the #1. Talk about working a lure. I think we may get a couple of bites.

First of all, WELCOME TO THE BOARDS MY AMIGO! Second, I am assuming this is an opinion which I agree with. I wonder how much we could get out of ATL for that number one pick.

I really think were going to trade with atlanta and get jake long at #3. Do you guys think we would draft matt ryan then take a chance and see if ATL wants to trade or is that too risky?

Hopefully we can get DeAngelo Hall and Jake Long from Atlanta in one trade swing that would be awesome!

Atl has the 37th 48th and 66th.

KC has 35th and 68th

(first three rounds)

I could see atl giving us #3 and perhaps #66
OR
#3 and DeAngelo Hall :err:

(I need to learn to type faster!!)

KC isn't in the market for a QB because they feel Brody Croyle is their guy. That's what they've been saying since around October and they have reiterated that stance just a few weeks ago.I doubt they are a player for Matt Ryan.

If I'm ATL, I would take the risk that the PHINS will NOT pick Ryan #1 ....

Granted, there is a LOT of time between now and the draft -- but i just don't see us picking Ryan.

Long, Long or Gholston ... even IF we can pull such a trade off [even with our current FA signings ... i still wouldn't take Gholston off the board]

Gholston is going to be a beast!!!I hope the Jets can sign PAce for ILB and draft Gholston for OLB.What a front seven we would have!

I hope and pray that Oakland drafts Gholston because I don't want to see him in green and white 2 times a year. ;)

I agree. The team that could possibly do it is Baltimore, but I don't really see any team really wanting to dish out that potential franchise crippling 35 million or so guaranteed money for the number one pick.
