The Bills gave up 183 yards on the run in sundays game.I think for us to be successful this sunday we have to give Ronnie over 20 carries. Ronnie can carry the bulk and hopefully have a huge game....

True, but for that to happen, we need to block for the run better. They may have a bad run defense but we have bad run blocking. Ronnie's no Ricky Williams, he'll try to grind for yards but he can't make things happen out of nothing.

Thats how good Lawrence Maroney and Corey Dillon are together. Maroney had 86 and Dillon had 73. If we had our tandem RB's of last year with Brown and Wiliams in the backfield, it would be very tough to cover both of them, but with one it makes it easier to cover.

I watched the Bills/Pats game and saw a very weak run defense on both sides, especially the Bills. The Pats had no passing game and they were still running very effectively against the Bills defense.

I expect Ronnie Brown to put up over 100 yards and 1 to 2 TDs.

I watched the game on Sunday and their defense got shredded by Maroney and Dillon.

If both Ricky and RB was playing this sunday they could have field day vs. the Bills. But, they aren't and its on RB. This could be the perfect oppty for the line and him to shine and gain some momentum. In fact the Titans and Texans are also suspect. We need momentum in the running game going into the Pats game in a big way.

Concern about Suggs is the knee. He failed the physical negating the potential trade between Cle and NY due to it. Ronnie has got to be good for 20 carries so that his full potential can be utilized. I don't know- with Suggs' health issues in the past how much of the load can he actually take? I would feel more comfortable if Morris could play in case something happened to Ronnie.

Thats what happens when you have 5 rookies playing.

Spikes says he will be ready for the Dolphins though. So hopefully we wont have 2 rookie safties, 2 rookie DT's, and a rookie OLB playing at the same time again.

Those rookies should get better though each game. In fact, Moroney had 14 carries for 30 yards when Ko Simpson and Daunte Whitner were in the game, his big carries came when Coy Wire and aging Troy Vincent were on the field. 27 of Dillons yards came while Wire and Vincent were playing also. Wire was horrible in run support. Whitner came up and stuck Dillon a few times.

Be careful what you wish for. May backfire. I still think Wes will get his first TD and Chambers will get first 100yd game. I think passing game may open the run. McMichael needs to have a good game.

CC will be in top form vs. Bills. Mc Mike does need a big game. Expect good things from Welker as well.

ahhh, nice numbers bro, I still think we will all rue the day Maroney entered our division.

WHeneva we play the Jills, they always seem pretty stout against the run..against us..lol Its gonna be a tough game..Im tired of gettin al excited. I just hope they play with a chip on their shoulder

No concern about Suggs, he's ready to go. That knee issue was blown out of proportion. It's a little arthritic and the Jets used it as an excuse to nullify the trade when they found that Barlow was available.
Suggs provides a nice change of pace to RB. He's a pretty good back.

I believe the wildcard is Suggs. If he can come in and be an effective change of pace.. we could really set up alot of things off the run. It all starts with the run.

yup, but buffalo's pass D isnt the best in the league. They still havnt shown me they can shut down the run or the pass. We should be able to run well on them and that will help DC and CC, I expect the offense to step it up this week. We just need the D to cut down on giving up the "big play" and stop getting dumb penalties
