Quarterback Kliff Kingsbury was claimed off waivers by the Buffalo Bills on Monday after Craig Ochs was injured playing in NFL Europe.

Kingsbury is a Texas Tech product, who spent the final 13 weeks of last season as a backup with the New York Jets. He made one appearance for the Jets, completing two passes for 17 yards against Denver on Nov. 20.

Kingsbury spent this spring playing for NFL Europe Cologne.
Ochs sustained an undisclosed injury playing in Frankfurt's season finale last month. He has been placed on the Bills NFL Europe injury list.

Uhhhh allright so as of now the Bills have: a journeyman, a bust, a third stringer and someone unproven on thier roster.

Bust as in Losman? LOL he's played 8 freakin games and you're calling him a bust? Intresting. I'm glad you evaluate players after not even one full season, wish you were my GM!!

Im not even a huge Losman guy, at all really, hes just kind of there for me. But to give up or call any player on any team after 8 games, especially at the QB position, is just ludacris.

Sweetpea, Losman is hardly a bust. Despite being put in a no-win situation by the Bills' "brain trust" last year, he improved over the season and showed some glimpses of the QB he could be. He wasn't ready to start in September, and should have been holding a clipboard while learning to read defenses on the sidelines.

The problem with the Bills' offense last year wasn't at QB; it was the oline and coaching. The oline has somewhat improved (hopefully to "adequate") with the departure of Mike Williams and the signing of Fowler (center) and Reyes (left guard).

Coaching should be improved this year, too. Puppet-master Donahoe is gone, and so is Mularkey as well as last year's OC and QB coach. Marv Levy is not going to pressure his HC into playing a green kid who's obviously not ready, and Dick Jauron has both a proven OC (Steve Fairchild) and QB coach (Turk Shonert) to provide a QB-friendly offense.

Oh, BTW, I am collecting numerous recipes for preparing crow which I will start offering, gratis, to all you FelonFans about mid-season since so many of you will be eating so much of it!!!

I never said Losman was a bust now did I? Thank God you guys arent CIA decoders, this country would really be ****ed.

Thats a lot of mediocrity !!

Dont worry though. They will get a really good QB in 2007. Buffalo should get the first shot at drafting Brady Quinn.

Well, if we are going to have the #1 pick and need a QB, best time to have it is when a stud QB like Quinn is there.

Big guy, Strong arm, mobile, plays in cold. He is perfect for Buffalo.
