Bills vs Jets for AFC East title

im not gonna say its between them yet i still have heard a solid confirmation about brady...and if he is out for the season i could see them picking a qb up from somewhere else....imo the dolphins still maybe a better team then the jets it was just one game today and i saw many promising things....

if it does get down to the jets and bills i would definitely take the bills hands down

The dolphins almost beat the jets without a run game. Our main strength is our run game with Ronnie and Ricky. if we would of had a run game we would have definately won. But then again, the jets may have not have had their A game of one of their main aspects. I think we are better than everyone thinks.

Everyone is alive now. We wont know who the real contenders are until at least November.

Such a long season.

The Jets won a close game against us, the Bills looked good albeit against a struggling team and New England has a solid team but a shaky QB situation. I am confident that this will be a very close race.

I actually picked the fins to win that game. I do not think they have a very good team or anything, infact I think the jets are much better (for this year anyway).

I picked the fins because of Pennington (not because hes great or anything...). Any time a major player from one team (especially QB) gets cut a few weeks before the season, and then starts agenst his old team in week 1, they almost always win. For example, the last time the bills beat the pats, L. Malloy was signed a few days before week 1, and we crushed the pats, who went on to win the SB. and yes I realize that was a long long long long time ago...:boohoo:

I believe the info provided by pennington gave the fins a shot, and probubly should have won that game.

The pats still have a solid D and im sure they will still win a number of games. The injury to Brady just gives the rest of the AFC East a chance at the playoffs without praying for a wildcard spot. Its been like 10 years since any of us have had a shot at a division title.

The jets have a good O-Line and a HOF QB to rally behind. If it was a rookie QB or something they could easily quit after a few losses, like the fins did last season.

The bills beat a former division leader. Though they only had 1 WR (who isnt that great) but still got open. Only an injury and dropped passes stopped him from getting 200 recieving yards in that game. The bills run D looked solid, but its possible the seahawlks poor run offense is to blame for that.

In the end, I think the pats still win 8, maybe 9 games, but will miss the wildcard. Bills take the division at 11-5, the jets make the playoffs at 10-6, and fins finish 7-9. I basically believe the bills and jets each have a shot to win at least 1 game agenst the pats now, so I increased their win count by 1.

Can we expect the same
Last 10 yrs of favre in playoff
3-8 - 2 wins because grant tore the other team up and one where the defence mauled the other offece.
2 overtime playoff games when farve threw the first pass to the opponent thus ending the game in first play in over time. 04 and 07.

can some one point out why he is going to this beast in playoff after 10 yrs of stinkers. i am curious. In the weak NFC it took him a monster games from grant [one is the 200 yd game in playoff] to win in playoffs. He had the best 4 WR set in foot ball too.

He hasn't been good in postseason which was another reason I didn't wnat to make the move BUT you can't give Grant the credit for the Seattle win last year. Down 14-0 Garnt had 4 yds on the drive that cut it to 14-7, the passing game got them into Sea territory on the next possession then Grant began to take over a bit tying the game at 14. The 3rd Td was 2 passing plays and a short run and the TD that put them up 28-17 was a drive of mostly passes.

Yeah... almost. :)

Your run game was gone because we shut it down.

The Dolphins will be in it, might be able to take Pats on a game.

Damn, definitely overestimated the Favre effect. Jets are still terrible. Really, really terrible.

New England's defense is still really good. Richard Seymour seemed to be every where during the game. Cassel did what he had to do but they seemed to play ultra-conservative. Randy Moss did nothing.

Though at the start of the year I think most people would say that the top teams in the AFC would be Jax, New England, Indy, and SD. Looking at things right now none of those teams have been impressive. New England is 2-0 and has looked better than those othe teams.

Maroney did leave the game but Jordan stepped in nicely.

We are terrible b/c we lost to the New England Patriots? I think we all knew Favre would struggle early, luckily last week we played an inferior opponent but this week even w/o Brady NE has an excellent D and their D and Sts won the game for them.

I saw the game, along with the rest of the country. Regardless of the opponent, the Jets are terrible. Don't try and make yourself feel better about it. Jets will be lucky to get 7 wins, which is hardly a threat for the AFCe title. Bills and Pats.

As we know teams never get better as the season goes along which is why the Giants cancelled their season after looking atrocious w/ their 0-2 start last year.

Our D looks really good, Our O is struggling and our kicking game stinks. Our O will get better as Brett gets more comfortable. If the STs doesn't improve we may win around 7 or 8 but I have to believe we'll get better on STs so I'm still very confident. Nothing I have seen out of the team so far has surprised me. I expected a tough game in Miami and although we controlled most of it we had to hold on for a close win and even w/o Brady I expect a close game and it was. We didn't make plays when we had to but we aren't far off.

Alright. My suggestion was to not try and make yourself feel better about it. Just accepting it now would have made the rest of the season much easier on you. But you have to make your own choices in life. Good luck with the rest of the year. It will be heartbreaking for you.
