I was just listining to the local sports talk show here in nashville and they had rosenhaus on (his agent) he said he was in town to talk to the titans about about a trade for volek? he also said he thought the titans would not be interested but he said he wants billy to be a starter this year. i am not saying we need to trade for him i just thought i would pass it along to all the "TRADE FREAKS"
 
i would love to see him here, but i am a Fresno St. fan
 
Rosenhaus is just stirrin up the **** that's what he does man. He has no reasonable expectation whatsoever to get Volek into a starting job this year halfway through preseason and the team knows it.
 
If there was a team it would have been Chicago and they picked up, who else? But the QB who has played for about half the teams in the NFL: Jeff Blake.
 
hes like a jay fiedler. i can remember jay playing well behind mark brunell on the jags just like billy plays behind steve

..NO WAY!!! Jay never put up passing stat's like Volek!! That's a bad comparison, I would take Volek over Gus or AJ in a heartbeat...

Yea its one thing for a guy to come in a play decent like Fiedler did in Jax, but Volek was putting up allpro type numbers game in and game out. He looked better than McNair in that offense. Not saying he's better or that hes a given star or anything but he did look incredible when he played.
Didnt he sign an extension or new contract this year? If he wanted to start that was pretty stupid. He only has a year or two to wait for McNair to be released or retire. McNair has taken some incredible abuse and has played injured for a ton of years, I can't see him going longer than another season or 2. Could be a coaching change in Tenn soon also, that might make McNair a goner too.
 
volek has a good what half year and he is brett favre now? Rosenscum sucks
 
Not to bring up a video game but on Madden 06...I traded Gordon, Thomspon, and a 3rd pick for him. I know...not the best trade in the world but Volek is one heck of a qb...in Madden 06 at least.
 
Last year Volek signed for almost 7million. As of now he is the slotted to replace McNair as their QB once he retires. I can't see any possibility that the Titans would even consider trading him.
 
There's no point in even suggesting or discussing other QB's right now. We're stuck with what we have for this year. We just have to deal with it. At least Ronnie signed.
