His agent asked the Titans for permission to seek a trade with a team that will give him a chance to be a starter. Thought it may interesting to speculate on. Here's the link:

I think this was posted yesterday too. Its interesting, but it would be hard to trade for a new starting qb and have him learn the system this late in preseason.

He may have asked for it after he saw how much your qb's aren't pulling off Linehan's system. He'd be a great pick up for you guys. The guy can pull off consecutive 400 pass yd games. Something Gus couldn't do w/ Linehans system.

I agree. If they dont ask to much we might be able to get him. Plus, not that it makes to much of a difference, but miami is closer then chicago.

I wanted the Bills to sign Volek and cut Bledsoe right after the 2003 season. He has mobility and can throw some lasers. Would be a great pickup for the Bears or Dolphins but won't come cheap (Because the Titans think of him as McNair's successor).

BTW, the reason I thought you guys got hosed in the Feeley trade last year was the fact that QB's like Volek become available in FA for nothing. And Volek looked 10 times better than Feeley ever did.
