Look at those stats, 300+ Yards (3 touchdowns 0 picks) When has Tannehill EVER put up those numbers.

In all seriousness though after watching a few games of Bortles, it makes you really appreciate Tannehill (an average QB). Tannehill has looked great the past 2 games. My point of this thread is to say you just can't watch the elite QB'S and compare them to Tannehill all the time and you can't just look at stats and assume they are better. This thread is not a debate thread, I'm just stating that you have to watch multiple games of other QB'S playing before you start forming opinions. Im neither a fan or a trash talker of Tannehill, I look for improvement and if he can't get the job done, find a future QB. HAPPY FRIDAY!:hump:
 
Well if you are saying that Tannehill is way better than Bortles now and has a significantly higher ceiling than Bortles in the long run, then I agree.

After watching Osweiler on MNF and Bortles last night, I do appreciate Tannehill more.

The QB play from those guys was just...depressing.
 
Yup,

now THAT guy is the ultimate garbage time qb. Even last year.
 
Bortles delivery is trash, it is so bad. They try like hell every year to fix them and it never happens.

I recall Big O pining for both Osweiller and Bortles last year over Tannehill. Truth is, Tannehill has never had as bad of games as Bortles and Osweiller have.

I'm a UCF alum so I try to root for Bortles, but he has just never been that great since entering the league. I never understood why so many people tried to hype him up. He's been an interception machine since entering the league.
 
He should put up 300 every game. Hurns, Robinson and Thomas are all very talented pass catchers. Last year Hurns and Robinson both broke 1,000 yards

Should have fired the coach after last season. It's a shame because their last 3 drafts were very good. They've got talent but the coaching is flat out awful.
 
It was crazy, he was missing throws by 5 yards, couldn't read the field and got pushed around all game. As soon as it was out of reach and the pressure was off, he started evading pass rushers, seeing the field, making throws on time, etc. I'm sure Tenn let up a bit but it was night/day.

Its gotta he frustrating to be a JAX fan after they had such a crazy good offseason - but low and behold Ivory is a non factor, Ramsey is getting ejected and Myles Jack is playing special teams.

already had a wolb in telvin smith who can play and now they miscast jack and are getting little results out of it...complete failure from a personnel evaluation stand point

I believe Henne's still the primary back up. Would relish watching him come in in relief putting Bortles to shame (but I wouldn't bet the farm on either happening LOL)
