2009 game against the Colts.

1) Miami Dolphins blatantly show an inside blitz, telegraphing exactly who we're blitzing, and where.

2) Peyton Manning clearly sees the blitz, and audibles to call a play designed specifically for that inside blitz.

3) Like a deer in the headlights, we decide to still go ahead with the blitz, exactly as we have shown. There is no element of surprise. At this point, we're sending sheep to the slaughter.

4) Result: 48 yd touchdown pass to Pierre Garcon.

Conclusion: When we're playing an elite QB (Peyton Manning, Tom Brady), we really need to disguise our blitzes. We can't be that obvious. Otherwise, they'll just audible and rip us to shreds. And if they do see our blitz and they audible, then we should cancel or change our blitz.
