thats great man id almost forgot just how much game speed he had until i saw him blow past almost the entire bills special teams unit

Man, Ginn is so fast, with the blocking we have this year on ST, it will be exciting every time he touches the ball.

I wasn't thrilled with the Ginn pick at #9, but then again until the shock of his selection sunk in, my first reaction was relief it wasn't Quinn (originally hoped for Levi Brown..and then wanted Patrick Willis). BUT he's ours now (his daddy too LOL), had a respectable and promising rookie season and really can be an electrifying player if healthy and coached up decently. At this point I'm 100% behind him and pretty excited about watching him turn on the afterburners.

cant Wait to see what he can do as a full time WR next year with Consistant QB play

The guy has one hell of a set of wheels on him. He blew right past everyone in that Bills clip....I expect great things out of him as a returnman and as a WR.

This kid has great speed. I can see them using him like parcells used Terry Glenn in New England. The only difference Ginn is dangerous on ST with more speed on offense. This is gonna be fun.....

That second clip vs. the Bills is ESPECIALLY impressive. Half the Bills' special teams had an angle on him and he blew by all of them with room to spare. I mean, really, they all had the angle to run him out of bounds and he was by them with no problem at all. His top-end gear is pretty damn fast.

He doesn't change direction nearly as well as Hester does (no one does) but I would suspect he's faster when he gets going.

3 of our lone high points from last season, good for only 6 points though...
Imagine what this kid can do with our new and improoved ST unit...

You got me missing football way to much after that man. Awesome post, I wasn't the happiest after the dolphins passed on Brady last year for Ginn. Lately I have been think about Ginn's freshman year at Ohio State. He was amazing! He was a threat to take it to the house every time he touched the ball. I remember thinkin about how much I would love to see the phin's get him one day. Well they did and I think we should all be 100% pumped. If we can get the QB situation takin care of with Beck and maybe Brohm with 2A I think we could have an awesome combo for years to come. I don't think we need a WR in this draft at all.

ginn doesnt stop at his 2nd gear, he goes to his third and forth gears unlike anyone else. lol

Man, part of me understands that he shouldn't be on return duty because you don't want your #1 receiver getting injured.

But c'mon, with some decent blocking which we should have after all the ST acquisitions, he could take it to the house once per game!!

I know what you mean. I never would've thought our Fins would pick Ginn at #9. I was pulling for Patrick Willis all the way with that pick. After it sunk in, I was cool with it because our team didn't have that much speed to begin with. With pieces being brought in to improve our ST, he is going to be an electrifying player, a threat every time he touches the ball (on offense & special teams).
