Blinders are what people on this site are wearing...

Anyone who watched the game...not the play-by-play on the internet, not stats after the game...but ACTUALLY watched the game, would have to be lying to say Harrington played well today. Harrington did not do a thing in this game until there were 9 minutes left on the clock and the score was 20-3. He was inept. How about the pass on 3rd & 2 before the tying FG attempt that landed out of bounds??? What was that?? How about the interception to Hobson??? If Culpepper threw that pass, people would be outside his house with pitchforks.

In the last two games, Harrington has barely thrown a pass over 15 yards. In two full games. Disgraceful.

I was thrilled with our acquisition of Harrington during the offseason. I thought it would be great to have two starting-quality QBs, considering the Phins have not had one since Marino "retired". But facts are facts. Harrington has been terrible. Four ill-timed interceptions in two games. One garbage-time TD. He has been no better than Culpepper, no matter what people on this site say. I would argue that he has been worse. Let's remember...Culpepper was turnover-free in his last two starts. Give me a sack over an interception any day.

This is getting really annoying having to read the same things on different threads and hopefully people will stop doing this sooner rather than later.

Would you rather talk about the weather?? Boy, it was sunny at the Meadowlands today. A little chilly when the sun went down.

Please, what else is there to talk about on this site? Should I rip on the O-line? Maybe rip on Mare for missing the FG?

Give me a break.

I unfortunately didnt get to watch the game. I have to work at 4 on Sundays and I listened to the game from work. I could tell from before the game even started that we were going to lose. We won the toss. The first thing the announcer said was, "Miami is 0-4 when winning the toss this year". I was like, "what kind of a ****ed up stat to give is that?". But then again, it is this kinda of pestimistic attitude that looms around our team and its fans. I want very badly for Miami to have a breakout game and everything to turn around, and I believe it is possible. But today was not the day. My god, everything I heard on the radio was horrible.

Here is what I heard:

Welker drops the pass! Thats a very rare drop for Wes Welker.

The pass dropped, no its tipped and OH! ITS INTERCEPTED!! Jets have it!

Harrington drops back to throw. Looks for McMichael, throw it directly into coverage and its picked off. I dont know who he was throwing that to other than the New York Jets.

Miami is getting nothing but success running the ball to the right side of their line. I dont know why you wouldnt call a run to the right in a situation like that.

Looks like Miami is short by the length of the football, Jets ball first down.

Ronnie breaks free, 45, 40 , 35, 30, 25, 20, 15, 10, to the 5 and hes knocked out of bounds. Wait theres a flag down.

Now Saban needs to decide whether to go for it to keep this great drive alive, or take the sure points. Looks like hes sending out Mare.

Laverneous Coles is wide open, hes gonna score. (crowd going crazy in background) Touchdown Jets.

Morris has it, the ball pops loose........................the Jets recover.

RADIO UNPLUGGED

When I got home i expected to see a final score of 20-3. I was close, i didnt expect miami to put up any more points though. I figures that the jets thought Mare would make the kick and were ready for overtime, when Im sure all Miami fans knew he would miss it. From what i heard it wasnt even close.

The only bright spots from this game are our defense and oline played outstanding. Too bad we couldnt have had a gameplan on offense other than, hey lets switch our LT and RG and run it to the right and throw ints.

Well, I would say that you were fortunate that you did not see this game. I paid $80 to see this slop today. Drove 200 miles round trip. It was nice to see Ronnie Brown perform, but other than that...disgusting.

i saw the whole game play by play minute by minute and i agree with the original poster, the one interception where joey had all the time in the world and threw it right into triple coverage people want to forget about like it never happend, even though we were driving very well

yet when daunte threw the pick against buffalo only down 3 at half time, people wanted daunte benched

yet today when joey does it, it is as if it did not matter

joey played well for a backup nothing more nothing less

nobody is forgetting the INT...however people see that Joey was calm in the pocket, didnt get sacked and lead the team down the field a few times to put us in position to win the game.

I thought Culpepper was benched? What's the point here?

Ups!!

My point is!!, both qb's are great!!, YEAH!! they ARE GREAT!! but not right now or atleast in our team. They play with urgency went there is nothing to play for. Always at the end went we are down by a couple of scores or whatever. If you want to win you don't play like s***t and then at the end TRY to make a comeback!!. If the qb plats like crap for 3 and a 1/2 quaters, crap is what you are going to get at the end. There is no effrod on that, just a BIG L and a lot of disapointment.

I'm with the original poster of this, Harrington is worse off playing than C-Pep, lets hope this whole Culpepper benching this was just an excuse as opposed to an actual injury, and that he will be back this week vs. Green Bay, or after the bye against Chicago. Do you REALLY want Joey to play vs. Chicago?

WOW.

Yeah!!
