The jags are particularly weak at pass protection as they have given up 32 sacks and we are ranked 3rd in the league in sacks on defense.

I know they will try to run and i by no means think we can stop MJD but slow him down is a definite possibility. I want PP to bring the heat, blitz vontae and wilson mix it up do anything you have to to get at them.... one man i would like to see alot of today is one MR CAM WAKE.

If we can force them into 3rd and medium to long i think we may have a great chance to rack up another big sack total day. MJD is a beast but if we tend to do well against little backs for some reason the LT and Sproles never seem to go off against us so lets hope that trends keeps up.

I don't know about that. They are a bad pass blocking team, but MJD will kill us if we blitz too often. Once he is in the open field, not many people can bring him down. I know for sure Crowder and Ayodele would get killed trying to cover him one on one.

I think we can bring pressure with just four rushing. We need to get a lead quick and get Wake in a lot once we are up. Wake by himself creates a tremendous amount of pressure if he can pin his ears back. Throwing in the occasional blitz will be much more effective that way.

I think you have this backwards, their only threat is a run game so why put your guys out of position to defend the run.

I only agree with the blitz in passing situations, don't give him time but on most 1st and 2nd's let's concentrate on the run.

They take a lot of sacks because their QB takes a lot of sacks. He gets outside the pocket too often and winds up taking a negative play sometimes. He will also wind up scrambling for a positive play sometimes too.

But, its not like he is a traditional stand it the pocket and it collapses on him in a hurry guy. So dont be mislead by the statistics. If you come in with a bunch of guys too quick, if he spots an opening where he can run, he will. And he will be gone in a hurry. We can definately sack him today and we do need to pressure him, but a lot of the sacks they have are on the QB, not the OL.

Im not so sure you have to blitz a bunch to get statistical sacks on him. If you blitz too much you will get exposed by not only their great RB, but that QB will beat you with his legs if you overpursue.

The key to getting the sacks on him will be coverage by the secondary and actually keep that QB pinned within the pocket where he is actually uncomfortable. Then you can trap him in there and get coverage sacks or flush him to an area where you want him to move, not where he wants to go.

You must be strong on the interior of the DL and build that wall, not letting him run straight ahead up the field, he will kill you that way.
