To start off, the team went through their normal drills, and much like yesterday, there isn't much to report during this time. Today I'm going to keep it short because it wasn't a very good day, and on top of it I feel like **** for some reason....

The bottom line is that everyone looks solid during the drill portion of the practices. It's when they go head to head where the offense looks extremely uncomfortable right now. I was so upset today watching the OL get man handled that I left early. I couldn't take watching the QB's / RB's getting touched in the backfield play after play. The revamped OL is not looking very good right now in my opinion....

On top of the OL looking like garbage today, the QB's didn't do much better. QB T. Green threw a couple of picks during the 7 on 7 drills, and Beck fumbled a snap when he was practicing some simple running drills. Beck alos threw a pick during the 11 / 11 session. QB C. Lemon was decent, but I saw him make a couple of overthrows as well. Let's just say it wasn't a very good morning for the QB's, and hope that things will improve in time.....

There were a few highlights. Green hit WR D. Hagan on 35 yarder for a TD, and I must say that the more I see of WR T. Ginn, the more I like what he's going to bring to our offense / ST. He's got those afterburners that help him run under deep passes, and he's been displaying some of it over these last couple of days.....

RB R. Brown looks solid, and well conditioned for the most part. The darkhorse here is RB L. Booker, and he's been showing some solid speed between the tackles. He's not the biggest guy, but his speed is impressive to watch. There's also some solid competion going on at FB between Schlesinger / Mauia, the two are battling hard out there and I really like the chance of both of them getting some significant playing time this year....

My overall opinion of this morning's sesssion was mediocre. The offense looks good until there's real pressure involved, and I fear that the OL is going to have a very tough time dealing with our front 7 during training camp unless they start to show more fire. Today was horrible for the OL in my opinion, and it effected everything the QB's / RB's / WR's try and accomplish. It was sad to watch really. Oh well, there's always tomorrow...

In closing today's report, I'd like to say that once "Training Camp" starts, you're going to be getting a lot more play by play stuff. These mini-camps really don't provide enough head to head competition for me to report anything worth reading. These are boring camps really, and I'm looking forward to more action once the real camps get underway. Thanks....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

Too bad about the offensive line. They got owned. I think that Liwienski will bring more stability to the line. I like what I see from Satele. I am a bit concern with Carey. He did not get owned, but lets remember Jason Taylor has not been in the drills. We'll see what happens.

Is Green the entire offense? If he doesn't do well, then the offense didin't do well. So you're saying it was the O-line fault that Green looked so bad? These are the same players we had when Cam traded for Green. He should fit the system, remember?

These update are much apprecited. Even if there isn't much to report. Looking forward to your next report.

Awsome report man. Do you think that we are going to keep 2 FB's on the roster this year? If i had to make a prediction i think we cut Schlesinger and keep Mauia on the active roster and possibly allocate Eckel to the practice squad.

Was Culpepper at the building?
Rotoworld just mentioned that Culpepper handed out a press release to the media this morning.

Unlike Beasley last year, I think Sledge is the IDEAL FB for CAM, and the Juggernaut is similar to him and will need to be mentored.

Last year it seeemed as if Beasley and Barnes were polar opposites, no mentoring to seen, but Sledge is a "NEAL" type back . . . and Regan has that potential as well. I think we definitely will keep both guys on the roster . . . matter fact, I guarantee we will.

palm beach post/Bedard said he saw CPep @ the end of practice in black shorts and a white shirt, looking like a RAider lol.

I was there as well and this report is pretty much the same way I felt. But, I spent my time really focusing on the QBs. Green didn't look all that great, even his mechanics looked like they needed some help. Also, the ball was dropped many times by the receivers. There were lots of picks thrown, mostly by Green. Cleo Lemon looked the best to me of the QBs. Thankfully, this is only practice and there's plenty of time before the season starts.
