This will be a series of random thoughts, and please reply with what you think about them.

1. Draft a QB with the first pick. None of our QB's are look good. So quit delaying something that's going to happen sooner or later and draft a QB in the first. McCoy,Bradford....whoever...

2. Get Brandon Marshall to Miami. It's no secret we don't have a #1 WR. He would be perfect for us, tall, fast and a real playmaker.

3. how do we draft in the first round if we dont get Marshall or Miles Austin. Do we go RB and get Spiller? do we go WR and get Dez Bryant, or do we go Linebacker and get McClain or Spikes.

The first 2 are easy no. Henne is franchise. I'm not giving a 1st adn 3rd for anyone never mind a wife beating thug.
Dez or McClain are the clear cut pics. If neither is there it gets foggy. Spiller is prolly the BPA than but they have talent at almost any position. Jerry Hughes at OLB. Dan Williams at NT. Earl Thomas at FS. Spikes at LB.

People should probably get Spiller outta their heads.....I cant see how or why we would take him when we have so many other needs on this team.

I'll be honest. I don't see Spiller making it past Cleveland when all is said and done. I could see Washington/Seattle/Cleveland taking a serious look.

Yes, how could we help our Offensive Firepower need with a Reggie Bush/Chris Johnson clone. That broke the NCAA record for ST TD's. We would be much better off reaching for a SPikes or Pos of need BS

I wouldnt be be reaching for anyone, I'd be trading down, accumulating picks and still getting a great defensive player in the 1st round.

We need people that can tackle. Defense wins championships.

1. QB is no longer an issue. This team has made a committment to Henne, and they plan to stick with him for the foreseeable future. None of this years top QB prospects have half the arm Henne has, and Henne is progressing very nicely as a starting QB. Remember, this was his rookie season. He will progress even more as time goes on.

2. Brandon Marshall is a head case. The last team this team wants is a head case. Parcells and Co. do not care for players with large egos such as the one Marshall has. There is no chance in hell we will spend a 1st and 3rd to get him, and we shouldn't. The free agent class for WR's and we have a good enough spot in the draft that we can BOTH get a very good WR in free agency and/or grab a guy like Dez Bryant early in the draft. Brandon Marshall isn't even on my or if they were smart, any other Dolphins fan radars.

3. It's just this simple. If McClain and Bryant are both available, I think this team is PROBABLY leaning to taking McClain considering the free agent WR class, but it really depends on what we do in free agency. I'm guessing that one of those 2 will be gone, so whichever one is left, they are ours for the taking.

.....you know what....Im not even going to respond to this thread

1. No - that is just a ridiculous thought.

2. I would not stay awake at night dreaming about Brandon Marshall in a Fins uniform. It is not going to happen.

3. Finally, a realistic question. I like Spiller better than Bryant, and I think he makes sense. But I think if McClain is on the board at #12, the Tuna runs the card up himself.

McClain wont be available.

We have KC, Oakland, Denver and Jacksonville all ahead of us. One of them will take him.

Cleveland has Jerome Harrison who looks pretty good. They have a ton of other areas that need to be addressed.

Also, to the OP, Henne is our quarterback and that is not going to change.

Trade down makes sense. This is supposedly a deep draft, accumulating more picks makes sense.

random thought: we need jacksonville to win the coin flip for #10 with chicago/(denver). Patriots have Jaguars 2nd round pick and this would push them behind miami in the 2nd round.
