Why the hell would we throw him to the wolves?

Even if he makes it through the PATS four day later on the big screen here comes the Bengals.

I hope you are in some kind of football shape.

This is a bad stretch to be a new guy.

Its not like he has been sitting on his couch. Hes been in a full NFL training camp, preseason as well as 5 games played. If he doesn't "make it through" it will have nothing to do with throwing him to the wolves.

I see him as a professional, ready for any Sunday. At least he should be. We need him to play well.

I'm just stuck on how bad our back-ups must be.

He hasn't seen game action since week five was benched and is 34. I hope he can WD 40 up his joints because we can't be embarrassed on national tv again.

He is not a rookie and he is in football shape. It's really a no brainer to play him. Mckinnie has been in the league a long time , i'm sure he is up to the task. I am more concerned about his abilities at this point. He may start but it will be interesting to see how many reps he actually gets tomorrow.

He can't possibly do any worse than Clabo.

Yes he was benched but in the 5 games he did start he only gave up 1 sack. If that was the case with Either of our tackles we wouldn't be having this conversation.

BM trail by fire? That's what I call it after I eat Chipotle.

Clayboy is not a tackle. He is barely a football player. He should be a healthy scratch.
For some reason we stack the D line and patch the O line. Is there something missing in practice? I know these tackles have to get dragged in practice.

Good question. Myself I have to wonder if coach Turner is in over his head. I hope not because I like him. We have had some bad lines in the past but I cant remember having two tackles this bad at the same time in my lifetime. I mentioned this in a previous thread but if martin cant handle the right side then the only hope for him is to try and kick him inside. If cant handle that then its just another wasted pick.
