I only caught part of it but Bob said that back then teams ran the ball more and even Farve and Manning would not have near the numbers that are putting up.
He also said he would have like to have thrown the ball more. he Talked about Warfield and said he could put up more numbers if they would have thrown the ball more.

they mentioned that Brian and Bob are underrated and that Brian should been the starter in miami instead of Fiedler . I agree with what Bob said , for I too wished that Miami could throw the ball to Fasino and I darn sure would love to have Ocho Cinco or Anquan Boldin .

Fiedler is better than Griese. Griese sucked *** when he was here. If a stiff breeze blew on he he fumbled. The name is not enough, Fiedler was better.

Griese got in...remember? he threw the long ball pretty nice a few times..and we got on a little roll...but he really wasnt that good...feidler came back in and def out played him and lead the team better....feidler just seemed to suck in the red zone and on out routes for some reason....always throwing that same damn pick...

For all the underratedness, Brian's on his...what? 4th team? Yeah, he's a true blue stud.

lets be fair now  he may be on his fourth team but fiedler is on his 4th also, jacksonville, miami, jets and now some volleyball team somewhere
:woot:

fiedler was better because our wise coach thought it best to give fiedler all the 1st team reps even after he was injured. I called it with fiedler when i said once he was cut from our team he would never be a #1 again and the best offer he could get was to be a backup.

I cringed when I heard bob say it- because he would have some bias there but one things for sure, his son had a lot more staying power.

Somewhat pointless argueing about the best scrub.

Paul Warfield was one of my favorite dolphin recievers of all time. He was great reciever for his time and very underated.

Coaches are pretty good with personnel, If Brian was that good he would have gotten the chance by now, O WAIT he did with Da Bearssssss

and gave the job back to Rex Grossman...who gave it to Orton...who is...well...Orton

kind of like fiedler who had his shot and then- well washed out and into volleyball.

As far as I am concerned Bob was just as much as "the man" as dan and I cannot help defend him- he was pure CLASS. (especially in that thanksgiving game against st. louis)

I chalk the comment up to parents viewing thier kids through gold-tinted glasses. Doesn't make him any less of a person, or a Dolphin. :D

True, I read this post before anyone else had replied and I kind of put myself in attack mode even before anything was said. I think, looking back he was prorbably my first childhood hero.
