Is there any chance the Dolphins will try to get Carpenter this offseason. I know they tried last season, hopefully Dallas would be willing to trade him this year. Kid has all the talent in the world and just needs playing time. Thoughts???

you know his nickname is barbie carpenter in dallas cause he plays so soft. haha

id rather not take him personally

I really thought he was good in OSU but never really did anything in Dallas there is a guy in this draft that reminds me of him in this draft Clay Matthews wouldnt mind trading for bobby for a 5th conditional 4th

Parcells did draft him with there #1 pick in 2006 and tried to acquire him last off season so he has to see something good in him. Any chance of a Beck for Carpenter trade?

John Beck isn't worth a bag of potato chips at this point. No way we get Carpenter straight up for him.

Carpenter has done about as much for them as Beck has done for us. Its a possibility.

Dallas will prob cut Carpenter if they dont trade him. I think he was just about a cap casualty last year. They want Beck or they wouldnt entertain offers. I think they would trade us straight up for Beck. Carpenter is no good to them and Beck is garbage to us. They might as well get something for him or they will jsut end up cutting him.

Katzenmoyer was supposed to be this great LB coming out of there too...he sucked, even though I think he did get an INT for a TD against us one year though.

Gholston was overrated, a workout warrior. AJ Hawk, haven't heard much from him..etc.

I wouldn't mind rolling the dice on Carpenter, it'd be a low-risk, high-reward type thing.
