Boom, Bust and Breakout Dolphin for 2020?

Breakout: Preston Williams. He was our best, and most dangerous receiver until his injury. I think this was mostly ignored on the national stage because of just how bad we were at the time.
Boom: Christian Wilkins. It is nearly impossible for a DT to look good when there is zero pressure from his team's OLBs and DEs. He did, and this leads me to believe that the new players will make him shine.
Bust: whichever FA that gets hurt early... but if they all remain healthy, I think Van Noy who was brought in for leadership and scheme fit (rather than overwhelming talent or real production) may find himself with stats that don't match his paycheck. Hope I'm wrong.

Awesome thread great job OP

I've got multiple at each spot, hope that's okay.

Boom: Tua (Rookie of the Year), Preston (TD catching machine), Breita/Howard (the ol one' two punch gonna be hard to stop)

Breakout: Igbo (will be starting opposite Jones by week 5, Howard's days I'm afraid are numbered), Wilkins (more than anyone I want to see 1st round production and performance from Wilkins, so far hes not impressed me) and Jones (the steal of the draft, will be a game changing Saftey for years to come)

Bust: Howard (injured again), Grant (AKA Gator Arms) and an easy one Ballage.

Nice thread.
Boom: I think Preston W could be a little slow out of the gate due to the injury. I am going with Kyle Van Noy.
Breakout: Gesicki builds off last year and is a handful.
Bust: If I have to pick I am going Flowers. He gets replaced by Kindley by midseason.

I will do a couple for each.

Boom: Preston Williams, Matt Breida and Raekwon Davis

Bust: Bobby McCain, Raekwon McMillan, and Devon Godchaux

Breakout: Jakeem Grant and Tua

LOL... I just realized that I typed Lawson under potential 'bust', while meaning Van Noy...

I'd not been awake long. Sorry, will edit.

Boom: Jordan Howard. We finally got a guy that can run between the tackles and get us the tough yardage.

Breakout: Michael Dieter. He has been doing alot of extra curricular work and will be ready to maul this year.

I refuse to pick a Bust.
Can you expand on the extra curricular work dieter has been doing?

great thread, I’ll go one for offense and one for defense.

Boom: Howard becomes a 1,000 yard back once again and Flo learns from the mistakes he made with Baker which leads to a pro bowl appearance.

Bust: Fitz turns back into a pumpkin in the early to mid season leading to a playoff push with Tua. Bobby McCain returns at FS and has a very predictable season of blown assignments, slow reactions, and missed tackles.

Breakout: Karras has a good season leading to a sizable multi-year contract and Weaver collects 5 or more sacks as a pass rush specialist.

Boom
Tua, Williams and Parker
Bust
Grant,Wilson and Z. Howard
Breakout
Hunt,Flo,Grier,Igy and Lawson

I don’t know why Fitzpatrick is on the bust list. What are we expecting out of him? He’s a stop gap that’s it. We even have the replacement in the roster. How can a stop gap be a bust? If he starts the season he’s just keeping the seat warm.

The X Howard pick is interesting, I was all for that contract but he needs to play 17 games this year. Thats the first goal. The second goal is keep his hands off his girlfriend anything else is a bonus.

Fitz is on many lists because they WANT it to happen. It's a path for their shiny rookie to succeed quicker.

He went to a special Oline camp held by some 3rd party trainer.

Has been doing extra workouts etc.

Not to mention, he improved throughout the season. I think he is gonna play well for us this year.

Boom: Mike Gesicki. He had a great end of the season under Flores and I think he carries that into 2020 and becomes a good offensive weapon.
Bust: Preston Williams. He showed flashes but I think too much was made of his limited production and he is here simply due to his lofty expectations by the fanbase. He won't be the #2 receiver on this roster in 2020.
Breakout: Christian Wilkins. He builds on a solid rookie year to become a monster in the middle of the D-line.

I was very tempted to have Gesicki as my Boom and Wilkins as my breakout they probably would have been my second choices behind who I chose. Gesicki as a big slot should be able to dominate this year.

Boom - Howard will stay healthy this year and bring the BOOM...
Bust - I would say Ballage but in my mind he wont make it out of camp. I'm going with Grant. Speed wont save him through the season.
Breakout - Christian Wilkins will be a monster in his second year on the team.
Ill add (Just cause I can)
Rookie Sensation - Brandon Jones is going to shine.
