Trade for the man and sure up this oline. If the #1 goal is to protect Tannehill then make the trade and pay the man! Problem solved :)
 
no way i would spend a draft pick and the money to get him, yeah dallas thomas sucked tonight, but he also went against a top 3 DT in this game
 
So when we play NE, BUF, and NYJ twice. Are you comfortable putting Dallas Thomas in against their DT's?

McCoy is better than any DT in our division, easily. I need to see more of Thomas before I render judgement, but I do share your concern.

Just what I was thinking.. Last time I checked the Bills and the Jets have a very good defense of lines.. And the pats DT is coming off an injury.. Don't they run the same type of system we do? Wouldn't he fit perfectly into what we're trying to do? Albert, Colledge, Pouncy, Boone, James.. That sounds a hell of a lot better than what we have now.. If that line could gel and James could just be a decent right tackle his rookie year.. Barring injury we would have a very good to great oline.. Capable of truly allowing it's QB to shine with all that time to throw and scan the field.. And the run game would take off too.. So win win ;) But that just wish full thinking by a Fins Homer..lol Go Fins
 
Absolutely need to see what it would take to get him. Thomas was a train wreck. Yeah yeah "he went against a top 3 DT" so you're okay with him getting owned by good players? Blasphemous. We need to protect the QB and be able to run the damn ball. Sick of an inept line because honestly we can try Turner but let's be real, he is a rookie and wouldn't be that much better
 
It depends on who the Dolphins have to give up for him and how much money he is going to cost the team.
 
I'd like to see more Shelley Smith before we go hastily do something like that though
 
The kid just got here, he needs some time to learn! He just got schooled on what he needs to learn. The main thing is can he and how quickly.
 
Lets just get Boone. Uhhh, some small problems here. The 49ers do not want to trade him. A lot of teams (like the Buccs) want him so the chances of getting him are small. And he is holding out because he wants a new, bigger contract.
 
The guy is holding out for a big contract. I don't know if it's smart to go drop a draft pick or two and some big money when we have two other guards on the roster who haven't got a shot. I say give Turner and Smith a shot.
