when i watch boston play he reminds me a lot of TO the way people have a real hard time takin him down once he gets the ball.. also look how big TO is and look how huge and strong david boston is if he gats back to his old form does he compare in the likes of TO ????? i sure hope so!

He doesn't quite have TO's balance IMO, but if he's healthy and getting open and catching the ball he does have quite a bit of potential.

on the contrary Boston is easy to tackle... he's got such small legs and weak ankles, a simple throwing of the DB's body into his legs takes him down - you saw this is the only tackle they needed to use to take him down when he caught the ball.

i just thik to myself... wow he is alot bigger than a lot of the guys hes up against most CBs arent 230 lbs let alon 200 lbs he would be a monster across the middle look what happend to chambers on sat them cats wouldve hurt them selves if they hit boston that hard :rofl3:

His legs aren't that small, and I think anyone goes down when you throw your body at their legs/knees.

That being said, I think he has to prove himself but he is all upside and nowhere near the cancer that TO is.

i'm not willing to forgive him just yet... he is just as much a cancer as TO is, just in a different way. TO is a schmuck who makes a huge publicity stink, but at least produces on the field. Boston didn't perform on the field for us last year, and at the same time tested positive for steroids and punched an airline attendant.

I say Boston is just as much a cancer as T.O. is, just in a different way. Boston needs to show he's worth having on the roster. 3 or 4 preseason catches alone will not make that decision for me.

If you get anybodys legs they are going to go down. I do think they will have a hard time for anybodys that tries to tackle him around the shoulders though. I personally love what the guy has out there. Hopefully he can makes some big plays this year.

Thats exactly what I was thinking, thats pretty much how they teach DBs to tackle.

WOWOWOWOW. Dude, you are quite wrong, and please don't even compare the two. David Boston did not test positive for steroids, he took a LEGAL enhancement that was just banned by the NFL, but it was Legal. He has never done anything but gain respect from players on this team. When do you ever hear him open his mouth either. How can you compare?

Good point, TO just seems more of a team and locker room cancer. Off field issues do not always translate into team or locker room problems (ie McMichael, Ray lewis etc) But locker room cancers always break up a team and cause problems (ie TO, and whatshis name from TB who's with dallas)

I'm just hoping for the best. Man I can't wait for the real thing.

Just what I was thinking. When has he ever did anything detremental to this team?? He is nowhere near the problem that TO is.

Man im sorry but i dont agree. Boston may have effected our team slightly last season with his off the field antics but to compare that to the absolute circus T.O. has created is nothing short of laughable.

He surely can be. Remember Boston hasn't had the luxury of the QB's Owens has had. With that aside he still put up, above average numbers in 'Zona. He just needs to become consistent, and the second half of his career can produce T.O. numbers.
