Boston out...T. Edwards in??

Boston has been a big dissapointment to this team. He doesn't even make plays like i thought he would do.
 
If Boston is let go how what about giving Fred Gibson a promotion to the 53 man roster I wanna see what this kid can do.
 
tell you what, seeing that Boston is playing for the vet min. whoever we bring in to replace him better be DAMN good.

Boston has not been given much playing time at all to prove himself, and the only time he's had the ball thrown his way he has been very well covered.

In 2 years on the team Boston has done nothing but cost us a bit of cap space, take up training room space, and slap the crap out of an airport ticket agent. His replacement wouldn't have to be all that good to surpass what he's done so far. Excuses aside, you can't trade on your past successes forever.

Well ace88, I have to admitt you are quickly becoming one of my favorite posters . I must admitt boston hasnt done a whole lot to make me think he would be a key player in this offense. his knee injury may be worse than any of us thought. Gillmore , Booker, Welker, and mr. Chambers makes a lethal offense in my eyes.:cool:

to tell you the truth, we havint given him that much chance to make big plays, but on the whole i agree, he needs to step it up now or hes done

Me too. Its good to know the reaston he hasnt been playing is the knee still just isnt right, I was afraid he was healed but just wasn the same. I guess now we will see if it ever heals.
 
Just because Edwards worked out does not mean he's in. The title is misleading as we tried out 4 WRs. The title should then be 'Boston out...4 WRs in??'
 
If they are gonna let him go....... how about they give him more playing time for him to prove what he can do out there. In the panthers game he was in for only like 6 plays and was thrown to once and many of those plays were running plays.
 
To be honest, I never expected Boston to be more than a decent 3rd reciever when he signed with us. When he can't even deliver on my low expectations, you know there's something wrong.
