No, because his knees will likely hurt him throughout the rest of his career and he isn't gonna be last he was with the Cards.

I'd much rather give T O a shot rather than give Boston another shot. The potential upside is much greater. And even at his best Boston is at best 70% the player T O is, and Boston sure has not been at his best for at least 4 years now.

Please don't start with the TO threads and comments. The guy is a cancer to a team. Boston is done - he knew it - that is why he signed a min contract. Move on - why is Maurice Mann on the open market if Saban supposedly liked him so much. This team needs more performance out of its receivers. No more time for avg guys and performance. We have to move on from avg guys like Booker and start finding some game breakers.

His second surgury was almost a year ago from the day. He hasn't had enough rehab time. Throw him in at TC if he earns a spot keep him. That simple.

I agree, a lot of knee injuries take more than a year to realy heal under normal conditions. When you consider that he has tested positive for roids which can realy hinder healing... I would bring him back with another minumum deal with incentives and like the man said ^ evaluate him in training camp.

Nope.

He's done. It's too bad, particularly if his attitude is finally in the right place after he did so much damage to his own body with his bodybuilding fetish.

Sad to say, Boston's careeer as a football player is officially over.

I agree -- I think you keep him at a low salary and run him hard in TC and in preseason games. If he can handle it then you keep him at the same salary and hope he regains his form next regular season.

Sounds like we have a lot of doctors here who have examined him and know for sure that he doesn't need any more rehab. I don't see why you don't keep him if he's able to play like an average 3rd or 4th WR on an NFL team. If he's not making any more money than those guys are, why not keep him? You can argue that you'd rather have a guy to develop long-term in a position like that, but you can also argue that if Boston returns to form he's your new #1 WR making the money of a #4. When your #1 WR is making #4 money, you have a lot of room to develop new guys.

no....time to say goodbye to Boston.

Somehow i disagree with the idea of keeping a WR with more than one knee surgery, but i also at the same time would love to hear a great coming back story on him.
There are big if's on his return, but the biggest of all surelly will be his knees. Mentally he can be back, but if injuries are bigger than the man, there's no reason to try and try to recover a so promised #1 WR.
By the other side, David Boston still can be part of TC in order to recover, because he'll still a good #3 WR, but only if he returns to football level.
