We beat ourselves, 8 turnovers can't beat too many college teams.
The dropped balls didn't help either.
But playing against one of the best teams in our conference, I wasn't as disappointed as I was last night after rewatching it this morning on NFL live.

With all the turnovers we held that team in check from 1st string D to 3rd String D. Our O stopped itself numberous times. The only reason they did score was because of a turnover. Every score for them came off a turnover in our own end of the field, except the Gus fumble in our redzone which resulted in a 69 yard run by a DL for a TD.

I see a lot of potential in this team, and think we will do better than most of you think this year. We've played 3 good D's in the last 3 PS games and have for the most part held our own. We're farther along on both O and D schemes than I thought we would be by now. Yes I'm a Feeley supporter and I'm very surprised he's as close to Gus as he is. Gus knows this O better and it shows in Gus confidence on the field, but it's not translating to the distance I thought he'd put between himself and AJ. Which mean as AJ becomes very comfortable in this system, he may explode. But as of now, both our QB's are playing avg. football, and we need above avg. to run this O. We have too many weapons not to succeed. Our OL needs to take it up one more notch, as our DL and secondary is doing. If the OL takes it up a notch, I see a very competitive if not winning season ahead.

People we may yet be proud to be dol-phans before this season is over. I'm looking forward to some good football, and now I'm really glad we had 5 PS games to work on the things we've worked on..I'm glad all these teams are blitzing as much, that only helps, now we face the Bucks, another D scheme that puts pressure on the O. All this should help make them better, along with going against our own D who's come a long ways. GO Phins...

I somewhat agree; however, I am trying to keep our season's wins and loses in perspective. We have a new coach, new offensive and defensive systems, and our personnel (those who don't fit Saban's style) will be changing. Just like everyone else, I don't like losing, but if we do this year, I can see why. We may surprise, or we may not. Either way, I'm rooting Dolphins all the way!!
