The way we played today we didnt deserve.
1- Penalties...18 penalties!! totally inexcusable.
2- 5 turnovers... 2 in the red zone
3- Coaching...this team was undisiplined, umprepared, uninspired.
4- 0-line play...besides the penalties, they didnt even give Frerotte time at the end of the game to get rid of the ball..twice!
5-Qb play...not one of Frerotte's best game, thats for sure!
But the good news is that these mistakes can be corrected, Ricky is comming back next week, and we didnt have ant mayor injuries...

I agree, this game had a good loss or an ugly win written all over it...

You are exactly right! 18 penalties is just ridiculous. we still had a chance to pull it out but Ronnie fumbled - i'm not angry at that, however. The penalties and turnovers were just unbelievable!

There is no excuse for these penalties. Its a lack of concentration. We either have really dumb players or players who lack mental toughness. Everything you could do to lose a game, we did today.

The int in the end zone in the first half was set up due to a procedure penalty. The bad snap on the punt came after yet another procedure penalty. The kickoff coverage team broke down at a critical time, when Buffalo's offense couldn't get a first down. That FG changed the entire complexion of the 2nd to last possession. Finally, Ronnie's fumble just can't happen. It was a very close call but he has to protect the ball in that situation. It was costly mistake, but just one of many critical ones that cost us the game. How we almost won with all of those mistakes shows you how bad the Bills are. We've blown two road divisional games that we could have won. This loss may come back to haunt us down the line.

Its disappointing, but prior to the season, I would've been thrilled with 2-2 and getting Ricky back. Despite all of the negatives, I'm confident we'll get better and make a run at the playoffs.

This is all you need in the quote right here.

You will find a very short list of teams if any that won a game with these 2 stats.

Agreed. Two weeks to prepare for a divisional opponent. & Miami has a total melt down from every single player at some point during the game. Thank God they played Buffalo. I mean really, 1st & goal from the 2 & Buffalo can't get in? That is just bad. They should have run it up the gut on all 4 downs. At worst Miami gets it on the 2.

Miami lost this & buffalo was the golf course.

It just wasnt our day and then penalties and turnovers are inexcuseable but it is just one game and we can fix and correct the mistakes.....we only have two losses on the season and we have Ricky next week against Tampa (I watched Tampa today and the Jets beat them and so can we).

Couldn't agree more.

Although I was extremely excited out of what I saw of Ronnie Brown today!

That's the sobering point. With an extra week to game plan and this was the best they could do.
I'm not the least bit impressed with the Bills. Any decent team would have won this game by 2-3 TD's.
I don't want to be harsh on Saban, but these penalties are coming from both sides of the ball and seem to involve different players wach week. That is a problem which is directly tied in to coaching.
If the Dolphins go 8-8 or 9-7 and just miss the playoffs, they can look back at this game and just kick themselves. There is no reason whatsoever for the performance today. The Bills looked like an average team and the opportunity was there to get an edge up on the division. But, as usual they fall apart and fall to the middle of the pack.

Well, unfortunately these days keep happening on the road in critical division games.
If this team doesn't clean up their act they will be out of the playoff hunt by mid season. I fully expect them to lose on the road to the Bucs next Sunday. The Chiefs can be explosive and with our luck they will show up with their A game. The Saints are another schizophrenic team, however, they did beat the Bills pretty easily so it wouldn't surprise me if they kick our butts too.
All of these games are winnable and don't require perfect or herculean efforts, just smart and efficient play.

You're right, we didn't deserve to win the game, and we didn't.
