Bovada has their latest over/under wins for 2015. The Dolphins are at 8.5 as are the Bills. The Pats are 10.5 and the jets are 7.5. That's a lot of wins in the East.

If I was a betting man, I'd take the over on Fins, under on Jets and Bills. Maybe take the over on the Pats.

With that said, if I was a betting man, there is no way in hell I would ever bet on anything involving the Dolphins. You never bet on your own team, everyone should know this!

9.5 would be a more interesting line. At 8.5 the over seems like an easy call.

Predicting the Dolphins is as easy as being a weatherman in L.A. You'd get a LOT of mileage out of a t-shirt you got custom made that said, "Dolphins the past 15 years = 8.5 wins". I think we do better this year.

11 wins? You're out of your mind. I had us pegged for 8 wins last season, I have us pegged for 9 this season. Getting 8-9 wins is realistic, 11 and you're setting yourself up for major disappointment - with or without Philbin.

I wouldn't touch that knowing the coach, his late season collapses, and the late season schedule against 6 good QBs and an away rivalry game in the last 8 games (3-5, 4-4, 3-5 to finish the past three seasons). I'll pass and settle on enjoying the playoffs if Philbin suddenly figures it out (not that I bet on Phins-related stuff anyways). The team is certainly talented enough.

So the addition of Suh and multiple talented receivers are only good for a .5 game improvement ?
i say more like 10 wins but i would not bet actual cash on it either. Just a feeling they finally get over the 50/50 hump and get into the playoffs.

If we can't get to 9 wins with a better receiving corps, a better defense, and an improving QB than yeah, regardless of who's (still) coaching us, then I'd say it's a major failure on the players' part.
