I still want a Chase/Smith/Olave opposite from Parker and I still want a power back, N Harris or J Williams but those two guys are making it harder and harder to go for 2 starting WRs or a change of pace back.

I like Bowden and Ahmed but they're not stopping me from drafting two real WR's and a real RB. This is the NFL in 2020 where you win with playmakers on offense.

They are both proving to be keepers. Ahmed could be a perfect complement for a back like Harris or Williams.

You pair those two with guys they draft in April high. No chance they don’t go for a RB/WR bc of them.

I’d love to draft Gainwell or Cook. It would get us a RB that can also help as a receiver. None of our guys scare anyone coming out of the backfield as a receiver.

Gaskin, on the other hand, surprised many last year with a NFL Combine 40 time of 4.58 seconds. He was expected to be in the 4.4-4.5 range, not a shade under 4.6 seconds. Gaskin did 24 bench-press reps of 225 pounds. However, he tipped the scales at 205 pounds and clearly was a step slower in Indianapolis.

Neither of them will prevent draft picks...at least they certainly shouldn't.

BUT...when's the last time we had guys, particularly rooks, come out of nowhere (except maybe 2019) late in the season like this, to contribute to winning football?

They could well mean the difference in making the playoffs or not...and that would be amazing if they helped put us over the top.

The youth on this team is completely inspiring, with this coach. They're not world-beaters, but they're doing their job...about all you can ask considering most of their draft (and UDFA) positions.
