I love coach Bowden. Having grown up in Miami a canes fan, going to Florida as a Gator fan, and attending FSU for my grad degree as a Nole fan (I love all Florida teams), I learned to really like the guy.

However, this is ridiculous.

Over the last couple of years FSU has been a trainwreck. It is dispicable and classless and tonight's sure elimination from ACC contention was the point on the exclamation mark.

1) Penalties. What an undisciplined team. Aside from the turnovers, this game could have been won if not for silly penalties.

2) Penalties, part 2. What a bunch of classless thugs. When you make a stop on 3rd down with one score down...why would you throw punches INTO the pile of players that are fighting for the ball BEHIND the 1st down marker. That penalty kept the game sealling drive alive. Forget about the impact on the game, what kind of thugs are so blatantly throwing punches in a game.

3) Sportsmanship. Did you guys watch the game? At the end there was a small melee. An FSU player threw his helmet on the floor in frustration. A Boston Collegel player approached him, said "good game" and tried to hug him. The FSU player blew up and almost struck the BC player. What a real sporstman!

4) Suspensions, suspension, suspensions. So many off-field issues this year. It's like we've fieleded the players solely from correctional and 2nd opportunity schools.

All this has to go back to the head coach. This kind of lack of control over the players shows that he's lost all control and that the team needs new blood to get things gelling again.

Bowden isn't even coaching anymore....hasn't in years....he's there to be a figurehead for recruiting.

I've always had tremendous respect for Bobby Bowden....but he's doing more to hurt the program now than he is to help it.

We are still very young, I for one am not dwelling over the loss. I wasn't expecting an ACC crown this year, but it would have been nice. Every offensive star we have will be returning next year, along with 9 out of 11 DEF starters. Things are still looking bright in Tallahassee and Miami. I got to give the Canes props, they have come a long way since we beat them earlier this year. FSU and Miami will be running the ACC starting next year for as long as they want it.
