Boxing has lost its flair, the lightweight and middleweight divisions carry the sport, and honestly, people want to see the big boys fight. The heavyweight division is lack luster and boring, with no real "stars" that jump out and grab an audience. MMA has that and more. Look for UFC to leave Spike at a future date for ESPN.
 
I prefer to watch boxing. Ill pay for ppv's for boxing and wouldnt spend a dime to watch chuck lidell fight. Im the outkast though because all my friends prefer UFC. I don't really know why that is but i just enjoy the sport of boxing a lot better.

Ditto, and I think it has a lot to do with tradition...
 
I am can barely whatch a boxing match. It just not exciting to me, But MMA is really a thrill.
 
I just don't like being choked out or having my face crushed in with a knee :lol: The rest is really fun.
