He will be here Sunday. That's all that matters.
One of the NFL’s top starting quarterbacks reportedly wasn’t seen at the open portion of his club’s practice on Thursday.
According to Lee Schechter and Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady wasn’t present at the team’s workout early Thursday, but he’s expected to play Sunday at Miami.
It’s not yet known why Brady wasn’t at practice. He was not on the club’s initial injury report Wednesday. He has not missed a start since suffering an ACL tear in the 2008 regular season opener against Kansas City.
Over the years, Brady has shown up on the injury report with a right shoulder ailment, but it’s never kept him out of the lineup. And Thursday’s ESPN Boston report suggests his absence today isn’t a major deal, either.
