Break time

I think everyone needs a break from this site, our fanbase is deteriorating and all the fans do is come on this site and make things worse. I'm starting to get tired of football myself after reading this site the last few years. People need to relax, the idea of football is to go and have fun watching the games. I just hate to see all of my fellow fin fans just bickering every day, I know things are rough and we're used to better (or were), but it is time for me atleast to just leave this site for awhile and just watch the games and cheer for the Fins. This post does not need a ton of replys about how I am dumb and the fans are not the problem as i wont see them. Thats not my point, my point is as fans we should try to have the most fun with the situation as possible and make the best of it. At least we dont have to root for cincy every year. Go Phins!!

in all seriousness. look, i understand what your saying, but the reason we all get fed up to the extent that we do is because everyone on here is a diehard and they care more than the usual fan about our team. it does effect us.

this being a fan forum, this is where we can vent our frustrations and discuss it with other fin fans who are just as passionate about the team as ourselves, and want whats best for the team.

at least you didnt come in here saying ur switching teams like some people said today in other threads. taking a break may not be the worst thing, just dont give up.

Honestly , all I read from your post is that "everyone needs a break from this site" .. and thats all I needed. This site breeds negativity. Perhaps we know too much about our fins. I honestly have been taking a break from this site and have been reading other types of sites as fill ins. I have as much fun rooting for our fins as anybody, and am disappointed as anybody, but Ill be damned if I become that type of FH poster than forces everyone else down with me. I have enough problems in my own life. I am kicking *** in fantasy football, and so what, my fins are 0-2, we will get there eventually. I am 23, I have time. Go FINS

everybody in here is just sick of losing. just care about the team is all. itll change. things can only get better. its just 15 years of frustration, plus the frustration of marino never getting a ring and having to hear he was one of the best BUT.....

need a front office that can bring some credibility to the team. it will happen this offseason. once this team shows some promise - some hope - things will improve :)

Look at it this way either the team goes on a winning streak and turns it around to finish strong and make the playoffs.

Or we replace Tony and bring in a seasoned coach with a playoff / superbowl resume and head in another direction.

I prefer the first but would be excited about the second.

Take your break ... come back in a few weeks and we should know the answer.

The thing i like about the site is everyone WANTS to be a homer.

They just need a good reason to be one.

I have felt your pain and wanted to leave this site because of the negativity but I just learn to deal with it. I am a positive person and I believe a negative fan base can lead to a negative team.

There's really nothing fun about losing. Especially since we were used to better. Fans are just frustrated and coming here to voice those frustrations helps. The "positive" people who don't take losses negatively or arent all that concerned with how their team performs are a weird subset of fan that I don't really connect with.

Not true. Im a Positive fan and I hate losing. I break stuff when we lose. Im staying positive about this team because its only 2 games and we played against very good teams. Did we have a chance to beat them? IMO Yes... I think both the games we beat our selves but im positive we will fix our problems. Some negative people on this site know that the team has problems and they just think they can tell the future and think we will win 3 games and all that bull ****. It gets kind of annoying hearing the negative fans ***** about our team all the time. Like do you really think after losing the first two games too very good teams we are the worst team in the NFL and will get the first pick? That is just clueless.

Yeah, but if we keep losing then those people aren't clueless, they're right. Not because they were negative but because they looked at the moves, the situation, the people in charge and interpreted correctly what it would lead to. Life isn't just a confusing surprise where you hope for **** and then whatever happens. There are consequences to actions and how you read those actions allows you to be more aware of the consequences.
