Yeah was reading that on the Front page. Is it right that those roster bonuses don't count against our cap?? If so we made out like bandits with those low base salaries after the bonus at the beginning of next year

Yes, the $12.24 million bonus count on the cap, but because it's an option bonus, it only counts from 2006-2009 at $3.08 million per season....total of 4 yrs.

The $2.47 million roster bonus he gets in 2005 counts in full on the cap....his cap number this yr is $2.7 million
