NEGATIVE! Wake comes from an era that Parcell's is responsible for. It has long been agreed on in these parts.
 
No it's an Ireland find. I agree that Parcells was in charge but Jeff is the one scouting the CFL for the Dolphins...
 
So in that timeframe.when he scouts something and it works out he gets credit, but when it fails it is once again not his fault? Thanks once again you guys prove my point!
 
I hate to say if we are in a rebuilding year then the best thing to do is trade him now and get a 2nd Rd pick if you can. Rebuilding teams with situational pass rush specialist making top 5 positional salaries are truly a luxury!
 
How are they supposed to pay Wake now anywhere near what he deserves when we have limited cap space?? You guys need to relax a bit. We can't pay Wake until Long's contract is extended/renegotiated which supposedly should open up cap money for the upcoming year for Wake. Long won't be renegotiated until after the draft. If they don't pay wake by the beginning of training camp we can start the bitchin then.
 
giving wake a long term deal is key to this defense. his miles on him are only kilometers

Wake was in the CFL probably making less than a million. Ireland found him and he became a sack machine and a superstar in the NFL. I don't see how this is a classless move but I'm sure the FO will sign him at some point after the draft...
 
They don't got any money to resign him

Unless you want to cut like 4 guys and create more DEAD money for this year. Wake is gonna have to wait! Soliai had to wait last year, now Wake is gonna have to wait.

First of all Ireland did not 'found him'... Wake CHOSE to come here... There was a line of teams that wanted a taste.. Next, the kid is playing on a silly contract... Ridiculous... For his performance it is simply incomprehensible. The fact that Ireland has not accounted for his pay raise shows without a doubt... Ireland doesn't know what he has...
